QUOTE(cloudstrife07 @ Sep 10 2009, 02:50 PM) Original Proton is using plastic. So it happen for the plastic regulator. At the part shop also selling both type. But still i prefer plastic due to the weight which is much lighter than metal type. And i doubt the metal scissor could stand long as the gear also could wear off. |

QUOTE(Notoriez @ Sep 10 2009, 09:25 PM) Mivec = 4G92 and NA right? In terms or transplant reliability, you can ask our famous Sifu, zenwarlord... Hard to get one that is nicely done nowadays but just wondering bout this engines reliability, maintainance and FC? Planning to fish around for Waja 05' @ RM32k and use the extra 8k to do some necessary modifications Perhaps changing the throttle body, exhaust system and do port & polish to the engine would improve the performance..any other suggestions?? If say you have 8k of modding engine, might else get a good condition Campro Waja, and head towards Glenmarie for Turbo/Supercharger bolt-on. For Waja 4G18, you can done engine modding as what you did say. Trottle body can use Evo4..i did that |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 12 2009, 10:35 AM) The good power curve is on 2500-4500 rpm after that abeit hard, coz don't yet use adjustable cam pulley. But still can reach 6500 rpm on 4th gear..Added on September 12, 2009, 12:09 pm QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 12 2009, 09:28 AM) even if u spent RM10K for modification on 4G18, u hardly can hit 120whp with NA setup. So my advice to u is, get a good chassis waja and transplant to Mivec. After deduction of trade in old parts to halfcut shop, u only pay around RM4k for the halfcut. Is the 120whp mean 120hp on wheels? This post has been edited by b48753: Sep 12 2009, 12:09 PM |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 12 2009, 11:14 AM) Yup that 1/2 meter should be enuf, it should nor more then RM20. There already 1 grounding wire on the intake manifold (mext to TB) and I'm not sure how b48753 connects to the TB. Perhaps u can get another 1 grounding wire to connect cam cover. Buy the grounding wire set at normal accesories shop, and let them install it....feel the power afterwards.. |

QUOTE(ray86 @ Sep 14 2009, 10:31 AM) i was too free and started reading the waja 4g18 manual.. did you realise it recommends that we use 20w50 engine oil and lower viscosity oil would void the warranty? Are you sure..In my manual stated that could use 20w50, but cause heard from my friend Mitsu engine is not good on mineral so maintain using semi-syntetic oil.Added on September 14, 2009, 10:39 am QUOTE(AdrianWei @ Sep 14 2009, 01:42 AM) Hi guys and every sifu here ... I almost finishing the cycle using Caltex 95, found out the engine is smoother than using Petronas Ron 95. The milage looks about the same, 11.16 km per litre.
