I have z5500 for a year now and very satisfied. The bass will shake your table and floor when watching movie (or watching porn ohmy.gif, lol ). Try turn up the volume and your experience of playing Dead Space will much, much scarier. Trust me.

I don't think paint fade can claim warranty as it is wear and tear. G15 is 1 year warranty. Only technical problem can claim warranty.

first of all next time be rajin abit and edit out the things u dun wan to quote.. like the picture... doh.gif

secondly... with stereo headphones, u get better driver placement. and u can utilize bigger drivers... stereo headphones can emulate surround sound better than those so called surround sound abominations.

with 5.1 or 7.1 crap... the drivers are so small... and theres so little space for proper placement u can barely get good positioning.

Eh guys, when is the ID Grip for the G9 mouse coming out? Damn that thing looks awesome la.
user posted image

Apparently, it has the same shape has the G5 and G7 mouse, with lotsa palm support. It also has a customizable tag thing at the palm there. You can upload any pictures to logitech to have them print it onto your ID grip.

Now.. the thing is, the website says its only available in the US.. any idea on how we can get our hands on them? I'm in Australia.. but err, Euro countries always get things like seriously late.

Lycosa more flat...The reason is because the keyboard leg there is different...Lycosa is much lower than the IK...

no demo set for IK at lowyat. no need to demo actually, the IK plastic quality is many times better than ms x6. it is not finger print magnet like the lycosa. if u dun need macros for gaming, u r ok with std kb for gaming, this is the best illuminating kb at below the rm300 price point.

If those that have this keyboard, I think the last fingernail of the left hand should cut...I find it very hard to press CTRL key cause long nails...Scare scratch the surface.

I've always been a fan of Logitech ever since Microsoft Hardware was such a let down. Currently using 4 products from Logitech.

1. G5 for home gaming
2. G15V1 for home gaming
3. MX610 for notebook
4. Alto Cordless notebook

G19 is a gaming keyboard with Color LCD panel and support You Tube video on the LCD screen which I feel =_=llll

besides that it also have custom color LED of the backlight which you can change any color you like on the backlight and 12 G-Keys(36 Programmable MR keys)

and also 2 sides of 2.0 USB ports, however it uses an AC Adepter dude to the powerful usage XD also price is twice of the G15 keyboard, if adding shipping fee I guess the price will be more insane

Wait till it release then check the reviews from other people. Then only you go and see if there's any demo set to try or not...

well from the people at outer sea who brought the G19 keyboard, almost the same features as G15 but the Color LCD with YouTube support(quite useless through with YOu Tube add-ons features) and custom backlight and 2.0 USB port make it sexy +w+

however the price make people sianz leh, 200USD + Shipping = approximate RM700++ and also AC Power Adepter +_+

to hell with kaira. it is same as the normal retailer we see everywhere. MCL is the main one.

Added on January 22, 2009, 11:26 pmbtw, the G19 LCD seems so small. maybe due to cost issue for color LCD? lol...

Probably the size of a phone colour screen...It could a reason for the price, maybe also the quality and the power adapter issue.

Since G15 only have 1 year warranty, should send back to the shop. If you want more accurate, can ask from the shop upon purchasing it.

If 3 years, then 1 year is you send it back to the shop. Then the other 2 years is to the distributor which is MCL.

I got bored reading thru the thread so I'm just gonna go ahead and ask.

Does anyone know if the Logitech MX 400 is available in Malaysia? It fits my every criteria for a mouse, wired(hate batteries), ergonomic, 4 directional scroll and not overpriced.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE say it is. The next best would be the MX 1100 which is RM330... wtf. Or G5 or MX518 but not Mac supported.

I think you have to find for anyone that owns z-640 and they are selling it too. If not, hard to find.

Anyone knows how much the Logitech USB hub for notebook cost nowadays and where to find it? Saw it at Digital Mall yesterday and amazingly cost around RM90+ for the Non-Premium version. The last time i remember, it shouldnt be that expensive.

In my opinion maybe the fells has a little heavy, tested on Razer Salmosa, Death Adder and Copperhead, G9 mouse has a little heavy feel even without any extend weight. or maybe it feels little heavy because the sizes and the mouse weight same as the big mouse(Lechesis?)

About G13 I looks it was really cool as it can change the color of LED as G9 DPI Change and very comfortable as in anti-cramp while you the game in a very long time however I saw the G13 owner at overseas, G13 is pretty heavier so you cannot moves the gamepad as you like or else you force to push it =D

Mind to own that gameboard but it was too pricy +_+

if gaming go for G7 mouse is really nice with 2000dpi and on-the-fly dpi switch however is quite pricey as it cost RM2XX++ for the new units of G7 mouse

V550 has also costs RM180++ (not sure the price now) same as others wireless mouses with some unique features +w+

Then G7 is your choice but the mouse is bigger than the normal laptop mouse like V450 and V550...Do take note of it.

Damaged your ps2 port? The head or the cpu port? You can take it back for warranty. Most likely they'll give you a new keyboard.
You can try ask them whether can take the 200 or not.

Just go to MCL and tell them the rubber just came off for no reason? That could help.

MCL at summit...After you passed giant which is on your left side, just go straight to the end and there's only 1 turning which is turn right only...You can refer to the address at page 1...

Just tell them the rubber slip off.

dun blame to he Logitech which because the problem on your wireless desktop set

I have saw many feedbacks of Logitech Wireless product, to known that some of the wireless desktop set may has some based problem

you may go to complain and changes a new one since yours desktop has the critique problem on your mouse

also I do see most of the wireless desktop set has the wireless problem or some bad software and never updated their firmware

I do see the nice recommended Desktop Set which is

Logitech Desktop Wave
Logitech S510
Logtech MX3200

others im not sure but you better dun try the S520, MX5000 and MX5500 because it do many bug and never updated their firmware too =/

As long your mouse did not exceed 3 years, can take it for warranty.
They have a system to check the warranty period ^^

more customeble LED =P

means more than 4 colour of LED lightings because as I know the LED backlights of G19 has the same numbers as G13 Gamboard

color might follow the same as G9 nor G13
-green
-yellow
-blue
-violet~purple
-aqua
-orange
-red
-slightly lighter blue
-pink
-brownish (G13)
-apple green (G13)
-and more

By the way I need to know what is the Logitech support/ warranty e-mail address? @_@

haha..so happen only all the stuff i buy happens to be logitech, but honestly i do like their quality.

btw, does it affect my hard disks if i place the subwoofer too close to it? both the sub and my cpu are about half a meter apart from each other.
just now i can feel my cpu got slight when i blast my speakers laugh.gif

the treble is very clear, wont get drowned by the bass. the bass is slightly softer than others speakers i tested at the shop today, but now it sounds quite nice and powerful for me, coz i put it on the floor, and i use equalizer in my media player. for gaming i tested it with COD5, it rocks too! thumbup.gif

U are using z2300 rite? Why dont u get a creative fatality sound card for it, coz my fren use z2300 pair with this sound card, fantastic sound quality...
In fact, z2300 ady has a powerful bass but only the sound isnt clear enough...Therefore a sound card can make it perfact... tongue.gif

I've tried my friend G5, can set till heavy.

Is it better for the mouse to be heavy than light in FPS?

Depends on the user. If feels light, then add in the weight.
But normal weight of G5 is enough actually.

alien design? yours is the newer 2 side button version eh? mine is the old single side button one. must ask modding sifus do this for you biggrin.gif

IMHO G5 is a all rounded mouse, good at almost every game you throw at it. even for productivity wise like photoshop etc it's also good.
every time when i go back to my hometown i'll bring my mouse along, too used to my G5 already laugh.gif

To those who asked about Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard, we just wrote a piece about of it on Multiplay, which will come out tomorrow. Nah, not a pre-release review or anything, just an announcement that the gameboard is soon to be here: nod.gif

QUOTE
The gameboard is expected to be on the shelves by end of this month with a price tag of RM 419, a pretty hefty price if you asked us.

it is too hefty for a sub keyboard and it is not even a complete keyboard. LMAO. we shall wait for the price drop. even G13 selling like below RM250 is still expensive.

As for the G35, need to test the real thing then only know the quality.

id recommend the Edifier R501 MK-II. best bang for buck speakers around...

so bang for buck that i bought 2 units... 1 for gaming PC and 1 for HTPC biggrin.gif

laugh.gif THX speakers aint cheap....the more the speakers the more the price ahhahaha....

jimmy....yeah i know what u mean with ICE... but in terms of bang for buck 5.1.. the r501 is hard to beat. Logitech's good speakers are usually rather costly like XiuKeong's 2.1 @ RM400.

PC Fair should have logitech and altec lansing and also edifier there. id suggest finding ones thats within ur budget range and audition them 1 by 1...although id recommend going to ALL IT (LYP, Ikano, digimall whichever is closest to u) instead (while PC Fair is running) so that ambient noise of people and other speakers blasting wont disturb ur auditioning and so that u can hear each speakers properly and hopefully able to identify the pros and cons

i've been to AllIT before, is nice going to check it out.

I like the X 540 feature and idea of installing the centre speaker and wired remote control.

Two speaker is it better than one speaker? i mean dual 2" driver

My ACS 45.1B still rocks but is still 2.1 want to try 5.1

Yes. Dual is better than single. Like my previous x-240, sound just average compared to x-230.

As in ID grip. Instead of pure black, there's other design.

And there's few LED's to switch to match your pc...Like G19 backlight.

urrrm. Logitech selling the ID grips for both G9 and G9x, both identical. As for the leds, G9 can customize the led colours as well. Only thing new on the G9x is the laser engine.

I don't think they improve on the engine. Same thing just that they increase it to 5000 dpi. Few things have changed on their specifications...

After browsing their comparison of course.

Anyone using Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave? Please advise.
It looks so ergonomic and comfortable.
If not mistaken, the price is around RM269.

i own one G9, and it has 2 interchangeable grips hard and soft. But heck it works well enough for me. As far as doing graphical work or even gaming like hell.......though if ur the type that dont like ur palm of ur hand on the table surface than this mouse isnt for you as it is built much shorter unlike my a4tech x7 or my copperhead.

Not waterproof.
There's some small hole below the keyboard so that if you spill water on it, the water will flow out through the holes.
