Have you tried contacting the dealer? Or you can try emailing Logitech and ask for solutions..

Got myself the Rumblepad 2 yesterday from All IT for RM109 with free QCK Mini. Is that a good deal?
*
Quite a good deal there. Why didn't you get Chillstream? Only RM20 diff IINM.. No promotion for that?

Hi guys, my MX518 pointer will jump (still happen), after restart pc and i need to go inside Logitech software to do some setting in order to let it run smooth sad.gif
I had change to latest vers firmware but pointer still jump after restart pc. Now i put the setting to default, the mouse function okay. BUT i dont want default setting, need some customise.

Is this firmware problem or the mouse itself? Please help.

The easiest way is to try your mouse on another PC. I bet Logitech's support team will ask you to do the same thing before sending it for RMA. They will probably ask you to reinstall Setpoint as well.

Guys. Have anyone RMAed their mouse before? I'd like to know how long does it take to get the mouse fixed? I'm going back to hometown for good and I don't think I have the time to wait if it takes more than 7 days.

BTW, my mouse is MX518.

Normally Logitech warranty is 1 to 1 depend on distributor (1 week). You have to send back to the retail shop/reseller you buy the item  smile.gif

1 week if you send back to the distro along with the receipt.

Alright thanks for the feedback. But, I tried to fix up the faded logo that day, so there's some paint left on the surface of the mouse. The technician told me that he will try to send for warranty for me but cannot promise me since I'm considered to have done some physical damage to the product. Hmm. Like that considered physical damage? But nonetheless, I'll just give it a shot since I've already contacted logitech several times and they've confirmed that it needs to be replaced.

Physical damage? As long you did not open and try to DIY then can RMA.
*
Nope, I didn't touch a thing. Heard Logitech's technical support is top notch. Hopefully I get what I expect. Cheers.

Maybe it is meant to be designed like that so that you won't accidentally click the middle button?

I see. Thanks for the replies  biggrin.gif
But it is kinda silly when you consider you'll be losing out on one macro just because that middle mouse button is so finicky
*
You won't lose it, it's just that it's harder to use it. If I were you I'd contact Logitech Support Team to complain about it and see what they'll have to say. Cheers.

My Logitech K300 small review.

Just got my sis a Logitech K300 compact keyboard after her keyboard died. Tried typing on them just now, I must say it's one of the best typing keyboard I've tried. The keys are soft and silent, and it kinda mimics the keys strokes on laptop keyboards but a tad softer. The keyboard weighs heavier than conventional keyboards and very well built and sturdy feeling to it. For me, it didn't have the cheap keyboard feel and very big improvement over the previous ultra flat keyboard.

It has backlit media keys and best of all, it looks great with its slim and compact design. Definitely a good buy. Oh yeah, almost forgot, I got it for RM99 at my local computer shop. Highly recommended for those who types a lot and has a limited desktop space. smile.gif

One more thing I like about this keyboard is that the Ctrl key is positioned beside the Fn key which makes the Windows key 2 keys away from the Ctrl key which prevents accidental key press on the Windows Key while I'm playing certain games which annoys me very much. This makes the keyboard perfect for gaming and with the keys so thin, it shortens the key stroke time which ensure faster response I suppose?

That's all I can think of now. I will add more details if I find anything interesting. Cheers for now. smile.gif
