Interested to know, HP Mini 1001TU vs HP Mini 2140. Other than hardisk storage and RAM, HP Mini 2140 is better in terms of what? Personally I prefer the outlook of 2140, but for the specs, I've really no ideas. Still wondering whether should get a 1001 by the incoming PC Fair or waiting for the dear 2140...

2140 advantage
vga port good for presentation and multi tasking in different display.
espress card slot.
2.5" HDD easier to purchase compare with 1.8"

1001 advantage
lighter and cooler.
expansion slot allow to add bay

AFAIK, netbooks running with 1.6GHz Atom and 1GB RAM has no problem running DOTA.
i've read about it quite a lot in netbook reviews for different models all across the net

It works fine. Bear in mind though, the 1001TU only has 2 useable USB ports (the 3rd is buried inside the casing). Also, USB HDD is somewhat slower than internal HDD. Other than that, no problem at all. I'm using an external 1.5TB right now.

Whao~1.5TB... drool.gif drool.gif
1.5TB external hdd won't burden your mini 1001, will it? eg. running slower?
