Interested to know, HP Mini 1001TU vs HP Mini 2140. Other than hardisk storage and RAM, HP Mini 2140 is better in terms of what? Personally I prefer the outlook of 2140, but for the specs, I've really no ideas. Still wondering whether should get a 1001 by the incoming PC Fair or waiting for the dear 2140...

QUOTE(shreaker @ Apr 6 2009, 08:58 AM) It works fine. Bear in mind though, the 1001TU only has 2 useable USB ports (the 3rd is buried inside the casing). Also, USB HDD is somewhat slower than internal HDD. Other than that, no problem at all. I'm using an external 1.5TB right now. Whao~1.5TB... 1.5TB external hdd won't burden your mini 1001, will it? eg. running slower?

QUOTE(tpl @ Apr 6 2009, 11:24 AM) it wont burden the netbook but will burden himself if he happen to carry the 3.5inch enclosure together with the adaptor. Thought he owns the 2.5" instead of 3.5"? Or 1.5 TB doesn't come with 2.5"? Pardon of my ignorance
