QUOTE(davidmak @ Jan 6 2009, 11:25 PM) I'm gonna follow this procedure too. So no screw removals involved right? Just use plectrum to separate the top casing. David, can u post a step by step guide with pictures especially how to open it, scared the casing damage This post has been edited by hellwaker: Jan 6 2009, 11:37 PM |

QUOTE(hellwaker @ Jan 6 2009, 11:36 PM) David, can u post a step by step guide with pictures especially how to open it, scared the casing damage I thought the ones posted before from Russian and Hong Kong forums had pictures with it? I think if you use plectrum to 'slit' near the camera shutter button or the lock/unlock slider should be safe. Cause there are wider gaps there to fit the plectrum. The plectrum is soft plastic so it won't damage or blunt edges of the casing. I was thinking another point of entry via the memory slots. Once you take off the memory card cover, it'll have enough space to fit your fingers/nails to separate it. |

QUOTE(hestia @ Jan 6 2009, 11:18 PM) oh my, i just straight copy and yes yes yes all popups without reading. Good bless you anyway, managed to get it working. dunno about the things i have overwritten coz of my carelessness. i also tried the wallpapers suggested by pana, so nice, fits the entire screen! now, just waiting for the perfect SP that wouldn't cause sensor problems to my tube! I think the largest gap u can find is at the top right corner, I think all 5800 have that same problem, correct me if I m wrong, I tried putting my fingernail also can go in already. This post has been edited by hellwaker: Jan 6 2009, 11:44 PM |
