all u need to do is flash ur firmware with hk version
hk 5800 supports japanese language input natively

I thought the ones posted before from Russian and Hong Kong forums had pictures with it? I think if you use plectrum to 'slit' near the camera shutter button or the lock/unlock slider should be safe. Cause there are wider gaps there to fit the plectrum. The plectrum is soft plastic so it won't damage or blunt edges of the casing. I was thinking another point of entry via the memory slots. Once you take off the memory card cover, it'll have enough space to fit your fingers/nails to separate it.

I think the largest gap u can find is at the top right corner, I think all 5800 have that same problem, correct me if I m wrong, I tried putting my fingernail also can go in already.

no
i'm afraid that there is no 5800 in whole japanese language interface since this handset does not available for japan market
maybe there will have software to do it but i dun see any currently

thats one of the most common problem for 5800's owner. This is they call Touch Wood if im not mistaken. can refer to the 1st page
as for me, i still didnt suffer from this prob yet. hopefully will not sweat.gif

so the earpiece problem they were talking about means the volume very low when receiving calls? how about the light leakage problem wat does tat mean?
