QUOTE(davidmak @ Jan 6 2009, 10:56 PM) Yeah, rarely I see lowyat's server going slow and busy. Something must be wrong here. I manage to solve the talking dic problem. What you need to do is to copy each folder "data", "private", "resource", "sys", "readme.doc" and "talking dic.sis" into E:/ (do not copy the whole talking dic folder to E:\ as it simply won't work.Anyway to answer your question, 'root of the memory card' meaning the very first path you open. For example your memory card drive letter is D:. You click on D to open it. The view you see is the root. Be extreme careful how you copy as originally E:\ already contain date, private folders, make sure you do not delete other files. I would not know what will be the consequence if you do it wrongly. Have fun SPLOIER...... only talk in English not Chinese This post has been edited by hellwaker: Jan 6 2009, 11:16 PM |

QUOTE(davidmak @ Jan 6 2009, 11:25 PM) I'm gonna follow this procedure too. So no screw removals involved right? Just use plectrum to separate the top casing. David, can u post a step by step guide with pictures especially how to open it, scared the casing damage This post has been edited by hellwaker: Jan 6 2009, 11:37 PM |

QUOTE(hestia @ Jan 6 2009, 11:18 PM) oh my, i just straight copy and yes yes yes all popups without reading. Good bless you anyway, managed to get it working. dunno about the things i have overwritten coz of my carelessness. i also tried the wallpapers suggested by pana, so nice, fits the entire screen! now, just waiting for the perfect SP that wouldn't cause sensor problems to my tube! Added on January 6, 2009, 11:44 pm QUOTE(davidmak @ Jan 6 2009, 11:40 PM) I thought the ones posted before from Russian and Hong Kong forums had pictures with it? I think if you use plectrum to 'slit' near the camera shutter button or the lock/unlock slider should be safe. Cause there are wider gaps there to fit the plectrum. The plectrum is soft plastic so it won't damage or blunt edges of the casing. I was thinking another point of entry via the memory slots. Once you take off the memory card cover, it'll have enough space to fit your fingers/nails to separate it. I think the largest gap u can find is at the top right corner, I think all 5800 have that same problem, correct me if I m wrong, I tried putting my fingernail also can go in already. This post has been edited by hellwaker: Jan 6 2009, 11:44 PM |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Jan 7 2009, 09:04 PM) yo Cfyong2020, i have successfully removed that naughty MSN Messenger (which doesn't work) with the help of the Y-Browser. What version of Y-broswer can use on tube?have you figure out how to do it? - Install Y-Browser - Open up Y-Browser > E drive > Others > MSN Messenger > Option > File > Delete - Lastly, go to Settings > Application Manager > Installed apps > Remove that MSN Messenger, once again now the icon is gone and the MSN Messenger software is completely removed. p/s: by the way, i bet you must have formatted your phone this afternoon, lol. |
