kokmj, will you be initiating a sticky thread on "so you want to get a dress shirt made" in near future?
*
Nah, I won't. No demand.

But I might if you all call me Godmj/Lordmj for long enough.

In the beginning there was the fit, and the fit was Godmj.

On the first day Godmj created the suit, and He found it to be good.

On the second day He created the shirt, and He found it to be good.

On the third day Godmj created trousers. Based upon a BESPOKE JAPANESE PAIR He found at the bundle shop.

Added on July 12, 2010, 10:11 pmThe pair upon which Godmj took inspiration from was cut specifically for braces, and had a fishtail back. It had long deep pleated waistband curtains. Said waistband was completely sewn in by hand. It had the name of the salesman and cutter stamped on a tag inside. The customer's name was embroidered in gold in Japanese on a tag inside. Every buttonhole was hand-sewn. Was made in March 1968.

Added on July 12, 2010, 10:30 pmGodmj also bought Uniqlo shorts pants in light pure linen.

The seventh day Kakmj rode her chariot to a magical town in search of the Emperor's master tailor, as She wanted to be like the Emperor that She has much idolized.

ruth alteration is not bad at altering jeans but the only problem is i realized the whole selvedge part is totally gone after they alter the jeans. for those who care about selvedge you might wanna take note of this when altering your jeans

Then again, it might not be their fault as tapering the bottom part might require them to lay their hands on the selvedge.

Nice-Where did you get them from?

I've seen these types of trousers worn at weddings in the UK with a morning coat & by litigators in England with their wig & gown. Very elegant.

They were selling these at Moss Brothers in the UK marked down during the sale period but the fabric was too thick for our climate. How's the fabric on these?
