You must be looking at the wrong place then. Mice follow their keen senses for good food, and not even the wrath of town councils will deter them from their prized possessions.

I bought a length of white shirting linen today. Also, a dozen real MOP buttons. I plan to have MBT2 make it up for me.

Added on March 20, 2010, 5:00 pmEat that, Calvin. Those buttons only cost me RM15.

Added on March 20, 2010, 5:08 pmThey also sell suit buttons both white and smoked, for RM5.50/piece before discount. I try not to gloat, but fcuk, this is my find of the month.

the understanding was that it's linen, but it could be a mix since there is no selvedge

Added on March 21, 2010, 8:34 pmbut that, really, is an inappropriate response to my post. the proper response would have been

"OMFG you found MOP buttons in KL, omfg, omfg"

yep,,,,,, baju melayu is the easiest to make-------any tailor can make a good baju melayu,,, important: ask for ~1-1.5" less from teh tailor measurement

what do you think?

its common sense,,,,,tailors always make roomier baju melayu so they dont need to alter it after raya----fitted cut is something theyre not used to----

buckles are removable-----we can throw our pant to a washer without damaging anything,,,apparently this was always requested by customers 20years ago when beltless w/ buckled pants were the norms <--- accrording to the tailor
