QUOTE(DailyPerfume @ Oct 23 2009, 09:43 PM) Yeah i'm going for regular alterations, one question. How are they gonna make my jeans length shorter? Are they cutting away the bottom part of my jeans to make it shorter? Damn you're pathetic.

Like the collar, but the pockets are not so good. Also, the cuff should be made narrower so it rides higher up the wrist.

You can just bring it to someone and have them reposition the cuff button to make the cuff narrower.
You can also have the pockets removed. It has nothing to do with formality.

QUOTE(chuakz @ Oct 29 2009, 02:59 PM) is it posible to make jeans tighter? like skinnier? or alter the waistline? I went to Za Altera today to enquire about altering my jeans (Straight cut) to a slimmer fit. Quoted price was around rm65. Collection period is 2 weeks (one utama branch).

not really a rule, its just the shiny one makes you look more like a P.I.M.P.. cotton dress shirts are feels better on the body, they don't stick on to your body (when you sweat), and they breathe better, and are pretty much more professional looking..
