does MUET really useful?

eh........how else do you suggest they grade you?....by how you look?

If you talking about speaking test it about:-

1. Confidence
2. No stuttering
3. Good vocabulary
4. Respectful to other member
5. Ability on jargon usage.

No 5 is important. My MUET teacher who is an examiner said using jargon and explain their meaning (greenhouse effect, coronary heart disease) show how mature your English have progress.

Even in Essay, try maximize using good word to summarize etc.

MUET not so tough. The only tough one is Speaking as everyone is nervous when sitting together on the room before you take the exam. (what that room called eh?)

To get course like engineering or medic in local university , is band 4 MUET enough?

From what my teacher told me is band 4 is not enough to get engineering or medic in local university , to enter this courses need at least band 5 in MUET.

Band 5/6 is accepted to medicine. DOn't worry, they don't compare either you Band 5 or Band 6. If you pass the minimum Band 5 its OK!

Yep! Except if you entering MedicinePharmacy/Dentist and maybe Law.

Yeah other normal course only take Band 3 but it is the passing line for all student.

but yes, you don't have to worry if got Band 3.

The speaking test.. try not to use so much of slangs like urrmm.. ah.. lah.. errr. Once my friend did that and i could see the smirk in the examiner's face.

I think once you got the min band d, can enter. As i can recall, you can resit the exam for effing number of times you like throughout your 3 or 4 years in uni

getting band 3/4/5 is nt that hard.. but band 6 is.. haha.. until now only know 2~3 band 6 plp..
but no ned to strike for that high seriously if u don go for law/doctor.. band 5 is good enuf ad..
