Try fax-ing an appeal letter to them. They either will or won't recheck it for you, not sure under which circumstances. Use the number in the MPM website.

I took the December 2010 MUET and scored 254, just 6 marks left for band 6. I appealed through fax and they replied a few weeks later stating that "the marks given were appropriate, there will be no changes to your score" or something like that. Some of my schoolmates that appealed managed to increase their scores though.

Thanks for the reply. The posted results slip did mention that candidates can pay RM 70 to enquire on test results. I'm assuming that this means a recheck, but I don't know. Does anyone know?

Your appeal by fax - does that mean that you didn't pay MPM/MEC?

If even one person can personally attest that rechecks can increase MUET's score I'd go through the proper procedures ie emailing MPM to ask about the necessary procedures and whatnot.

recheck only start from this mid year 2011,mpm find out this is the other way to earn more beside increasing the muet exam fee.

That would also mean that there wouldnt be a lot of candidates that have done rechecks as @xlcs has done would it?

Our MUET results slip did state that "Any appeals would not be entertained", but a teacher told us to ignore that statement and assured us that MPM will recheck the results if you send or fax a formal letter to them, free of charge.

That was during the Dec 2010 MUET of course, they might have changed their policies this year.
