yeah, i mean since the IMEI is pasted outside the box, customers would be able to select wich box b4 they buy ma.

So, the IMEI determining where ur phone is manufactured is fake la.

I mean its totally absurd to use IMEI to dertermine ur phone quality. so, dun worry yet lol.

yes, indeed.

i just flashed my e71 euro AP to sg version and able to update to 110 firmware and it has chinese input now, not yet tried 200 firmware, but i read the nokia post, only europe version able to update to latest version, and they hav simplify chinese input now. But for u guys wanna input trad/simp chinese, just flash to HongKong version and they have this nokia pre-installed A4 text input software.

By the way, flash the codes, will void your warranty. And it only take second to do it.

anyway, just my advise, dun flash to outdated firmware or firmware that's even older than current one. it will be crashed.

oh really? haha. thx fr the heads up, bro. I tot can rollback firmware or sumthg. haha!

wat i did when i get my fone:

1. e71-1 update to e71-2 (no flash)
2. e71-2 flash to e71-1 (install chinese version)
3. e71-1 chinese update to e71-2 (no flash)
4. e71-2 restore europe version, no chinese after update.
5. e71-2 europe version flash to e71-2 sg version
6. e71-2 SG with chinese and latest 110 firmware.

NO. my friend tried once on his N96. failed and the phone cannot be turned on. my friend cracked his head for 2 days to settle the phone.

i din use the integrated IM in E71. Instead i downloaded MSN messenger from Download!

If u r user of a different IM, trying using Nimmbuzz. Im not sure how ergonomic izzit, but frm the reviews, i heard its good.

I tot wanna install older one so i can hack into the system files, cuz the current hacking tools couldnt work fr the later versons of firmware 110.xx onwards.
