Hi all e71 user,
I'm planning to try this phone.make a survey at s.alam this morning,zitron set rm1350.
But the tauke not advise me to use this phone.got many problem he said.he ask me to take e66.is it true or just to clear their e66 stock?
*
e71 is more expensive than e66 and of course a seller would prefer selling a higher priced phone because more money to make right...unless he ran out of e71 stock and want to sell his current batch of e66 stock..

u glad it can last till you get home. Windows Mobile phone cant even last thru the day. My friend HTC cruise use half day battery flat and u complaining yours then i suggest u get a HTC to have a feel of it.

Err I beg to differ though. Current crop of winmo has come up with better battery life. ranging from 1300-1450 mAh..depending on the firmware, omnia for example can last 1 1/2 days with heavy usage.

BTW anyone know whether red version of E71 already available here? emailed Nokia Malaysia and they said will confirm soon. I can't wait to get the red one.. rolleyes.gif

Hi, anyone know what is the current price for E71? Is it in the range of 1 - 1.3K? Apparently a lot of places ran out of stock for the white one. Do anyone know which places in Kl still has stock for the white version?
Thx

first you need to understand where the set comes from even original.

From distributor should be FINE when it reaches the retailer anything can happen? Imagine this maybe he wanna make more he took out a pouch or earpiece and give u a cheaper one. Will you know its switch?

yeah this happened a lot with ap sets and even early original sets of 5800xm before it's official launch. shops often take out the 8gb card and told the customer to add a small amount of RM to upgrade it to 8gb which should already be included in the package.

i'm winmo user for years. my not so good experience with symbian:
1. headache to obtain my cert
2. file system quite complicated
3. cannot sent unknown type file using bluetooth. try to send garmin map but inbox cannot execute or save .img file
4. uncustomized menu & home screen (or i need to search more...)
5. no stopwatch! even cokia 1100 have one smile.gif

and the gps receiver take long time to lock sat signal (without a-gps), but it is incredible fast with a-gps

need symbian power user to enlighten me. tq.

First that one is human bug not symbian problem.

1) I do not have headache to obtain my cert. Got it in 3 hrs.
2) File system very simple with Ybrowser
3) Unknown type we use alternative program to send. You cant blame the phone inbox it only can identify specify files.
4) Its normal to search for more. U have better options ( google is your friend )
5) I have stopwatch even countdown timer

First do not blame the symbian Here a tip on how to improve GPS lock time.

There is a cold start , warm start and uses data to connect

Cold start - 5-20mins
Warm start - 1-5 minutes
Data connect = 3-10sec at most in good signal area.

if you wan fast lock get a Garmin NUVI. U dont buy a phone to replace a dedicated device

Ure saying like you buy OMNIA HD phone to replace a CANON DSLR camera?
