hmm so far no lag on mine..the GPS issue..it takes awhile to load n it has to be in open air..i wonder why..maybe the antena isnt strong enough or something..but it seems to work la..just that its a lil slow..not immediate update.

hmm in opera mini site..which version to dl?E71 not listed..does e61,e60 or e70 version work on e71?

Actually my E71 stil under the company's contract..so i stil dunno whether i shud jus reflash the firmware as i reli need to use the chinese language..so can i reflash it while stil under the company??

Arggh, I tried formating my mem card now it says corrupted in my phone.

Its not hard to get,it is like impossible to get, lol. So far i never seen any red except like u all mention E63.

For overall its good but if u want amazing speakers , huge screen and amazing gaming performance dont put your expectation too high. For internet surfing and business feel this the right phone to get.

only draw back is the 2.5mm inch earphone plug u need a converter or use the earphone that comes with the phone.

Overall E71 is faster than N95 8GB even menu loading phone boot up. I tested E71 boot up speed is as fast as Nk 5800 XM.

Cool part of homescreen when you are let says u in college or work u can use 1 homescreen with shortcuts to suit college or work needs and when get home u can change it to another set of shortcuts to suit u.

INternet surfing with qwerty its just amazing especially email and forum chatting

again my phone hang...was downloading some podcast, and the battery was weak..so i let it download while i charge it..set the alarm..time was about 12am..fell asleep..over slept..and saw the phone hung around 5.36am..

is this normal?ive seen some people having problems with the phone hanging..but thats like a few times in some months..im just having it for days and have already taken the battery in n out for 6 times..should i sent it back to nokia?or some firmware update?

Nope. I've done all the upgrades myself with no issues. Restore factory ar..hmmm..a bit reluctant coz don't want to lose my setup. Format the memory card ? All other programs and new installations work fine. Only Opera. Plus Opera was d/l to the phone and tried installing from there. Installed to phone as well. I suppose RFS would solve the problem, see lah how...
