It only opens .ipsw files, the downloaded is a ZIP archive and there's no .ipsw file in the archive, how?

It's under the when I plug in my Touch to laptop, it'll show up in iTunes to ask me to register my ipod and an iTunes account. So, both also put under US? or just the iTunes account put under US, and register ipod put legit one?

You can purchase a gift card/cert code, and use it to open an US iTunes account.
First make sure that you have selected United States under the iTunes Store main page.
Click Redeem at the right hand side, enter the code, and choose to open a new account (make sure you're not logged in).
Then just enter in the details respectively.
You can leave the credit card field blank.
For the address, just use any. I used a McD's address

Well, that's not entirely accurate. When you exit to Home, BeejiveIM is no longer running. Just that they store your account in their server as logged in for up to 24 hours, and stores any incoming message. I suppose he's asking for truly running-in-the-background, where you can still get sound notifications of incoming messages

Don't know 'bout JB, but for normal, you can set it to e-mail you (the account that you use in the Mail) then rely on the fetch/push system to get notified. And if Malaysia telcos support e-mail-to-SMS, can get an SMS alert too. That's all I know
