it means that u have left 122 months before your warranty expires i guess.

coz mine is 8months, realizing that i've not been using up till 8 months. So i check with my original warranty , left 8 months. i havent bought my ACPP yet.

it's always advisable & in good care to take out your battery if you're using your laptop while it's plugged-in to a power source for a long period of time. from my own experience, there'll be a deterioration of your battery's health, which i observed using CoconutBattery, back when i was being careless with my macbook pro. initially with a 100% charge, it'll last about 4 - 4.5 hours. now it's more like 3 hours.

so don't be lazy guys smile.gif do what's best for your mac.

Use iStat Pro instead from iSlayer It's free and can monitor more than just battery health. Network I/O, Uptime, System load, temperatures etc...all in one little widget in the Dashboard. Looks good too.

Oh, since it's in the Dashboard, will it be fine if I use this app together with the SMC fan control programme?

iStat does not control anything. It merely give you feedback/information on your internal workings. Yes, you can use the SMC fan control program with iStat.

My MBP is Sony Cells..... not good either. This is my 3rd Battery in less than 1.5yrs. My full charge capacity was 5560mAh when I first got it (that was 2 months ago).

Battery Information:

Model Information:

Serial Number: Sony-ASMB012-3964-c3aa
Manufacturer: Sony
Device name: ASMB012
Pack Lot Code: 0001
PCB Lot Code: 0000
Firmware Version: 0110
Hardware Revision: 0500
Cell Revision: 0303
Charge Information:
Charge remaining (mAh): 3790
Fully charged: No
Charging: Yes
Full charge capacity (mAh): 5201
Health Information:
Cycle count: 57
Condition: Good
Battery Installed: Yes
Amperage (mA): 1567
Voltage (mV): 12349

But my MB battery is good. even after 612 cycle of charges, it's still storing a 5180mAh at full charge.
