Just used Diacneal for the 1st time.Wish me luck!

How long it takes to heal cystic acne? I got several beneath my skin altho not huge in size but I can feel something beneath it when I touch..
Applying pimple gel every morning and night.. around how long this will take?

It can takes months sometimes. The faster it comes out to the surface the faster it will heal. If it subsides fast there is a possibility it will come out again in a few weeks. Never squeeze.

it is always a painful morning to choose between applying spf 25 or spf 50?...is spf 25 enough , travelling by lrt to work then wait for abus...id say, max 15 mins sun exposure in the morning??? i work in the office and get homr around 7

I usually go for the maximum to be on the safe side available because the sun is Malaysia is horrible. If u r bothered by the heaviness/oiliness of the SPF 50 sunscreen, try the Japanese type ones like Biore or Sunplay.

how actually to use cleansin oil, do i need to mix wif water before rinse over face or just spray onto hand and directly apply on dry face.

Currently usin' ZA one, bought it RM20 at Guardian.

Don't mix with water...make sure your face is dry, then pump a few times (your preference) and apply to face n massage it all over for 1-2 minutes. Then only u use water to rinse it off. Follow with your regular cleanser...to make sure no oil is left on the face.

After 2 weeks of use, terrible. Caused many breakouts. Breakouts stopped soon after I stopped using it.

Now a question about Niacinamide/Niacin to repair skin. What are other products I can use that contains Niacinamide, besides Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting series (that's the same as 3 point series right? as mentioned by scform)? NIA24 available in Malaysia?

Even if Olay Regenerist is more of "treatment", can I use the cream version (for oily/combo skin) as a moisturizer? Or just stick with Serum? This is after Diacneal of course.

I've never had good results from loreal products (Loreal men, Garnier, etc).

I reckon niacinamide is present is quite a number of products but the concentrations are low. I still say Olay Regenerist is still the best and cheapest source of niacinamide..can't think of anything else. I haven't come across NIA24 in msia b4.

I don't think the cream version is for oily/combo skin...its more for dry skin. Diacneal itself has some moisturizing qualities so I guess just stick with the serum.

bro ive never had any problems using this product.. is it due to your skin type or something? im quite surprised frankly...

Loreal Pure & Matte Anti-mark is quite new though.

I don't know if its due to my skin type, but products react differently for everyone. So I'm just saying, for acne prone skin, I had breakouts. Unless its coincidental that I had a LOT of pimples at the time I've been using it.

Usually I would have 1-2 pimple + 1 healing. In the 2 weeks I've been using it, following the 1 week that I stopped, I would have like 5-6 pimples (this includes existing ones & the "up and coming" ones) + 2-3 on the mend.

That or maybe my skin is having a reaction from using chemicals on my skin again. For quite a long time, I've only used Cetaphil cleanser (super gentle) with no other products. Cos I couldnt find Panoxyl anymore.

Only listed drugstore sunscreen with high PPD is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer and Avene's.

I'm currently using Sunplay UV Moisture Milk SPF50 for my daily sunscreen, should I pair it with moisturizer since I have oily face? Any decent product recommendation for the moisturizer?

depends on what you want to get out of your moisturizer. you want something basic / something that has treatment for acne scars / repair sun-damage, etc.

U got to use it for a few weeks and see if there is any drying or flaking of the skin. If it does happen then u will need to use a moisturizer before the sunscreen. My skin is oily and the Sunplay suits me just fine without using a moisturizer.

Added on October 26, 2010, 7:35 pmPPD is only for European sunscreens. Japanese and some Asian sunscreens use the PA rating. Both Avene and Neutrogena offer high protection but the finish is crap.

i dont feel comfortable with PA+++ (PPD 8-10) =/ at least 20 for tropical weather maybe.

Ok....then by all means go ahead using European sunscreens with PPD. U can try La Roche Porsay sunscreens as they offer high PPD and a good finish...although not as matte as japanese sunscreens. LRP ain't available here though. But its available in SG but it costs more than RM100 for a small tube.

hi guys, which is the best face care product for a guy, currently i m using clean and clear only..the result is so so only, right now I'm thinking to start taking care of my face seriously..i have a oily face so what product that good for a oily face? i need something that can make sure my skin 24 7 clean and will not make my face fair bcoz i aldy have a fair face...tq guys^^

You can try getting those oil control face wipes n use it few times a day to clean your face. Because of the weather here there isn't many products that can keep your face free from oil. I've tried so many n nothing really works the whole day. Simple is the cheapest oil control wipes I know of. Look for tifone in the blue pack.

so those oil wiping blue papers are to clean ur face from oil, means help preventing pimple/acne?
