DT231 is not as bright as the HD201.

But the HD201 don't have the bass response of DT231. You might want to EQ a bit to boost the bass with HD201.

Either way, both are good cans for the price.

No, the IEM is not supposed to fall out when you're wearing it, otherwise you're using the wrong size of ear tips. Try lift ur ear upwards and backward while putting in the IEM. If all the silicon ear tips can't give you a gd seal. May be you can try Shure olive foam tips or triple flange(ppl say they get better seal with it)? PM Walabies for it xD

yea the silicon cant giv me gd seal and im planning to get those triple flange but i saw some site the triple flange is not for SE102..once i saw the review..im a bit dissapointed...

ATH-FC700? tried it briefly before, kinda like it's SQ, sounded good on flat EQ trough my Walkman. bass is satisfying, and clarity is not bad too.

just spend more and grab a HD205 maybe? I think HD 202/205 are well worth the money. They say (headfi) HD 202 has the same driver as HD 212 pro, how much of that is true I'm not sure, but if that's the case, HD 202 is the way to go. Plus, HD 212 Pro is a 250rm headphone..So you might want to take that into consideration..

No problem..HD 212 pro is not exactly non-portable either..I use that when I go on plane trips..It's a closed can, so it blocks outside noises pretty reasonably..

Hi everyone, i am interested to get a headphone and budget is below Rm500. Beside ms1 and ad700, is there any other choices? Mainly for music and sometimes for gaming. =)

HD201?

what music you listen too also, grados and its related products are woeful with house/trance music, its also horrid with things that require a soundscape more then say a 5 piece band. for gaming i would not recomend a ms1, things you hear would be compact and tooo close to each other.

cheers

i try HD201 before and its high is a bit harsh and too bright for me. Actually i also dunno how to category the type of music i am listen to. Mostly i listen slow jazz (a expert categories for me when i tell him the song i listen too tongue.gif ), sometimes will listen to oldies and instrumental as well. I am prefer to those sounding that is comfort and can listen up to long period. The design must be comfortable as well. =)

Hi guys, I need some pros recommendation for earphones. Here are the some information from my side:

My budget is around RM100.
I would like to use the earphone for music and movie on the go, like for ipod handphone and laptop.
The music source is mainly flac, mp3 and mp4.
Usually listen to classic, techno, rock, and a little of pop.
I prefer easy carry, able to provide clarity of sound and some bass.

Looking forward for your kind reply. Thank you.
