I am consider between Bijou 3/ Bijou 4 and PL 30 as my next upgrade IEM. I mainly concern about the SQ in clarity and detail. For the bass, i am just asking for a solid bass then is alright.

Currently i am using the PL-20 and very satisfy with it . Great clarity and the bass is quite suit to my taste. I will use the IEM with my sony NWZ-E438F.

I will appreciate for every suggestion given. Still a newbie in IEM =)

jaben would be the place and its in singapore....

for bijou u can always PM yuheng and COD at sunway to audition....

I know that i can PM yuheng for audition the bijou. However i can't find anyone who can let me audition the PL-30. blush.gif

I wish audition both the IEM before i proceed any action to contact up the seller. I know i can PM yuheng for audition the bijou, however i know that he is very busy right now and i think it is not good to PM him just for the audition purpose. blush.gif

As a conclusion, i know that it is hard to get the opportunity to audition both IEM before make any decision. However, at least i hope that can get the comparison review by any user who own this two IEM. Although review can be very subjective, but it is better than none. thumbup.gif

Thanks mate for giving me the link. From the review, the bijou and PL 30 seem like having the similar SQ and the bass performance.

The clarity and sound detail will my main consideration. For the bass, i required a solid bass. The bass can not be strong but it have to be solid. I dislike those those strong bass without solidity. Hope you guys can get my concept. =)

p/s Gudluv, actually i very satisfy with the performance PL-20 which worth every buck that i pay for it. It do suit me better than EP-630 due to my music preference. Now i just wish to find an upgrade from PL-20 and try something which will be suit my need better than PL-20. Better clarity and detail and more solid bass than PL-20 rclxms.gif

Maybe X3i as the clarity and detail is great but treble could be overpowering at times and depending on song quality. Bass isnt that strong but there is a bass quite solid. EP630 bass could be strong but not solid as x3i. But seems like X3i out of stock or no longer selling anymore lol.

I do PM wala about the x3i. He say that the x3i is no longer available. cry.gif

Hi everyone, i am interested to get a headphone and budget is below Rm500. Beside ms1 and ad700, is there any other choices? Mainly for music and sometimes for gaming. =)

HD201?

what music you listen too also, grados and its related products are woeful with house/trance music, its also horrid with things that require a soundscape more then say a 5 piece band. for gaming i would not recomend a ms1, things you hear would be compact and tooo close to each other.

cheers
*
i try HD201 before and its high is a bit harsh and too bright for me. Actually i also dunno how to category the type of music i am listen to. Mostly i listen slow jazz (a expert categories for me when i tell him the song i listen too tongue.gif ), sometimes will listen to oldies and instrumental as well. I am prefer to those sounding that is comfort and can listen up to long period. The design must be comfortable as well. =)

SoundMagic PL11, heard it's good for bass and some details which suits ur listening well.
I had PL20 but the bass is an issue, slightly better once paired up with Fiio E5.
*
I have PL20 and E5 also. The bass seem like not tat natural even though pair with E5. However, at this price range, it really sounds good and worth the price i can say. tongue.gif

Personally, I'm gona go Grado. haha..No 1 here seems to recommend grado that often huh?

Well, I like KSC75's sound sig more than my HD 555 and AD700..So does that mean Grado's the way to go for me?

If you like forward sounding and 'in your face' music....go Grado/Alessandro, after listening to them, any other cans will sound pretty laidback laugh.gif I recommend Ms1 for awesomeness (highly biased opinion brows.gif ) tongue.gif
*
LOLS. A MS2 user here. I prefer slighly laid back sound signature such as the AD700 tongue.gif

definitely not updated... i read review on a guy frm head-fi that FC700 beats PX100... ^^ oh well... i guess it depends on diff ppl's taste... ^^

i really had no regret on my fc700... after burning in the headphone after 5 days... and the bass is still punchy as ever... and great soundstage with GREAT sound isolation!~ no sound leakage...
*
Do the FC700 comfortable enough?

so far i'm wearing it for 3-4 hours straight... my ears are ok... and it's quite comfortable as the earpads are using the p-leather type... not the normal cushion earpads... ^^ it makes ur ear sweaty... but otherwise it's ok.

i use it outdoor... so typical msia weather... so far so good... quite comfy wearing it outside...

I dislike those foam that will make my ear sweaty. I will feel uncomfortable with it. By the way, thanks for your chip in... thumbup.gif
