Ai Yah,everyone should known by now that Denon prices always expensive than others eventhough made in china.Example yesterday,i went to another hifi shop which they introduce to me Marantz sr 6003 as compare with Denon avr-2809 and Marantz made in China hence prices cheaper approx rm800.But i dont think the newer Denon prices will drop lol.

Bear in mind that famous economic saying, "charge what the market will bear". You will find that the selling price of an item has very little relation to where it was made.

To all Denon guru's as today i found a hifi shop have new set AVR-3808,prices at same prices as avr-2809.Should i grab it ?

Added on July 29, 2009, 10:53 pmI cant afford for 3808A.I had compare apple to apple and yes,the audyssey is upgrade hence both are network receiver.I think both also can upgrade software by internet connection.
New set as warranty by Woo Kee Hong.
Should i get it ? Kindly pls advice.TQ

think....they are of the same series/generation (new is 3310and 4310)
Grab the 3808, it has higher chipset, better DAC's, isolation, superior components & more oomph !!!

yep,this particular shop quote me both.2809 @ rm4.6k which for 3808 slightly cheaper abit and new set warranty by Woo Kee Hong.Others shop quoted me 2309 @ rm2.9k while 2809 @ rm4.3k but 3808 not avai anymore.
