Thinking of 3310 or 4310?? tongue.gif

I have already sold off my trusty AVR-1909 for less than a year of usage........and upgraded to 3310. SQ thumbup.gif , even you pump up the volume it wont sound so harsh and ear piercing.

Hi sifus...I wonder why my AVR 1909 display show audio input source is in stereo eventhough I change my DVD audio to dolby digital. I use a coaxial cable from DVD to AVR. When I change the DVD audio to DTS, there is complete silence.

I dont think it is the DVD player. I just change all the speakers and it happen. Before it was fine with the old speakers. Of course I did do some manual setting of the AVR. I think I might lightly mess up some settings in AVR. I cant figure out what so asking here whether someone encounter similar situation like me...

maybe u can check the audio setup in DVD first, just to make sure it is Bitstream, not PCM.

So that other users can help you if it still doesn't work icon_rolleyes.gif

Do a hard reset on skydragon.
Or the dvd is pirated dvd which dts sound track eilek. Joke...
If input audio is dobly, you would see 'dd' logo. If it's dts audio, you would see 'dts' logo regardless of avr surround output mode.
