Some joker is talking rubbish here.
Or was he simple joking? I really can't catch his jokes at all quoted that DOW gonna collapse to 4K.  sweat.gif
Maybe he forecast it will in next couple years. Please state reasons behind it or don't just simply talk childish here without any support reasons for it.

I attached weekly DOW chart and it is bullish trend now. White candle was formed and bullish stochastic crossover. I dun think in next 2-4 weeks, it will drop to 4K or at least in these 3 months.

However i wish to thanks you for your books recommendation.

(Note: I do agreed with kelvin that i really felt discomfort with your remarks here. Please post your remarks maturely.)

I never gave a time frame I don't have to . I said it will go to meaning it will bottom under 4000 , in the long term.

Read the book and stop joking.

(Note: I do agreed with kelvin that i really felt discomfort with your remarks here. Please cut the personal crap , use the PM if you must and post your remarks maturely.)

@TXI
as usual you just mention it will bottom at 4k but no analysis and no fundamental reason for it. Let me give you my words then... DOW will reach 20k ! I never gave a time frame. I dont need to. I dont want to start any arguement but this is for discussion yet you are throwing all your predictions to us and are somehwat forcing us to either accept it or else we get arrogant remarks from you. Best of luck for you shorting GBP/USD.

BTW : Since you are so clever how come you did NOT notice the GBP has dropped as I said it would ??

Why not make some FX calls instead making personal remarks - what is your call ?

Do you have one or are you here for some other reason?

Txi, all you know is talk talk talk over the net. The net your safety home? RHB trains its employees to talk shit and not back it up. Don't worry man, i already know who you are. I'll come and find you; and let's see if your mouth is bigger then.
Victor: Don't bother about him man. Anybody can give a forecast and not mention a timeline. I guess that's how RHB mislead its clients and caused their clients to lose alot of money.

IF it goes against the forecast, oops, i meant few days from now. IF it is falling in line with his forecast, OH YEAH, i told you so. What does he know? All he knows is typing behind the computer.

let's stop the personal brawl here. it's making a mess in this thread. rclxub.gif Txi, u have ur own wordpress/blog and you can well continue to vent out your anger there with profanities. Let's us all keep this thread clean once again.

Next version (whoever is creating it) if there's any suggestions to SHORT or LONG pls state on which indicator/TA/FA it's from as a support. That way we could check whether to agree or to concur smile.gif

For forex trading, i suggest you to use a notebook, instead of a pda. Sometimes pda, you cant see the chart properly, hence you might be interpreting the candles, movement inaccurately.

ya. i agree a pda may not give as clear a picture as a full fledged display. nonetheless. there are times when it is just inconvenient to power up a notebook - such as when in office and boss around smile.gif
was considering a pda phone more for the order management, especially when a trade is already running or if intend to place an order.

u made 100 pips shorting GBP/USD good for u.. i made 100 pips longing GBP/USD also.. and another 100 from EJ EU AJ while you were replying about my talk about adam and eve. Hope u took profit before it went against you.

@golddigger
notebook definately is better then pda. But pda can be your backup at times where notebook is not convenient for you to carry around maybe during your lunch breaks or so. Anyway it depends on your trading method. If you are a position trader aiming 300-500 pips u dont have to monitor it all the time smile.gif

It depend on what platform that you are using. If you using oanda which is web-based platform (or specifically java based), you can use any pda phone that support web browsing.
If you using mt4 based platform such as ibfx etc, you need to use windows mobile 5 or 6 software to support mobile mt4 application.
I'm using HTC Touch 3G running on windows mobile 6.0, it work fine. biggrin.gif

I took profit before it went against you, while you were talking about adam and eve.

There's more to short by the way , I'm waiting .

So what are your reasons for longing GBP/USD since you are so insistent on asking for reason ??

Where are your " analysis and no fundamental reason for it. " your own words.

wink.gif

I would like to ask you since you always demand " serious " talk on FX so why are you saying you have done all these trades AFTER the fact , after the pairs HAVE moved ?

I , anyone can make that up , that's the oldest trick in the book.

Next time do what I did on the GBP trade , make the call BEFORE it happens , that what this is all about not history anyone can look at a chart and make it up.

2) Lower interest rate on GBP

hm..my little opinion. Based on the movement of Treasuries since last week of Jan-09, as well as the recent rate cut by BoE along with its horrible prints of economic data, and of course the performance in GILT, i wouldnt really want to short GBP anytime soon.

Given on Feb 6, DOW is start going to rally based on volume breakout and others indicators are giving bullish sign.
So why need to short any major pairs like GBP, EUR? I acknowledge DOW rally may not spark rally in GBP pairs.
But at least in historical data, it does proved it.
So for now, i rather stay long bias until DOW indicator showed me otherwise.
Anyway, my opinion is just a humble opinion from average trader @ IT guy.
