Nice buttons. Do you plan to get ermazine for the lining or is "normal" lining sufficient?

Wow, that would be my next question here. Normally, how long is required for the jacket lining, and I read that the ermazine lining provides good ventilation.

3 meters as well. I bought mine here:

Added on March 2, 2010, 9:32 pmI bought 4m because I wanted a waistcoat as well. You should get a navy 3-piece, i.e. with waistcoat.

Grey suit, grey lining. Blue suit, blue lining. Or you can do it like Calvin: Blue suit, pink lining.

There's no such thing as machine washable wool. The reason has to do with the scales in the wool fibre which make wool the only fibre around to display the felting effect. There is a way of coating the fibre to make it anti-felting, but I know of no quality suiting fabric so treated.

Hie guys, i have a few question to ask. Im planning to MTM 1 set of suit for my "big day"
Till now i still dont have an idea what i should make.
I cant backtrack total 107 pages blush.gif but i did glance through a few pages back.

Im not a tall guy about 165, was wondering should i make something normal (working attire type?)

(Single-breasted suits: This is the basic style. Most suits are single breasted. Usually there is a choice of two or three buttons for single-breasted suits. The front buttons on the suits are in a single straight row.)

or something like this? Tux? Im afraid the bow tie doesn't suit me~~

(Sorry snap from Men's Mag spotted just now)

I love this design..is this too common for special event?

Black tie Event...i wonder is too plain? it looks like a "Wing Coller"

Some example:

Too plain?

Btw, My theme colour
(Event 1) My Fiance colour- Royal Blue (Black Suit + Royal Blue Vest + Gold Cravat?? Or what combination should i choose?)
(Event 2) My Fiance colour- Red (Black Suit + No idea)
2nd Event is kind of small...dont intend to spend so much on vest (rm400) for different colours ..what should i match/play with it?

My Nuptial Blessing will be either the Black tie event or any suggestion?

Thanks for all the input given. Appreciate all kinds of feedback.
Budget: Mix wool/ Wool not exceed total rm2k for everything (Event 1 & 2)

Currently aiming: 1U Bespoke Ian Chang

So I met MBT yesterday. It is going to take 2 months for the jacket to be ready as he received mountains of orders lately. shocking.gif And I've picked a blue lining.

2 months? Didn't you bang on the cutting table with your fists to make him give you priority?

Added on March 4, 2010, 6:41 pmSo the silk thread arrived. Thicker than I thought. Not as shiney as rayon embroidery thread.

I hate these female eBay/internet sellers. Why do they insist on spraying the goods with perfume before delivery? They always do that.
