do you travel to a low signal area? sometimes it won't OUT just like that, but it will downgrade the signal to GSM(which is the best~)

Yalo, why choose indonesia .. later their showroom kena terrorist attack sad.gif
Either Msia or Singapore is a great choice. Maybe their market research found out that indon are more into j-culture compared to us ?

Or maybe nokia & SE are really dominating the phone market in malaysia right now >.<

its true that se and nokia are domianting the market ... maybe they are waiting for thier chance to launch the phones at the correct timing ?

Hmm... 1st, D905i is a slide phone tongue.gif While SH905i is a flip phone smile.gif
Second, D905i consider as a legend phone now. Because that model was the last model from Mitsubishi. As Mitsubishi do not produced any mobile phone anymore smile.gif

Hi all,

i wanna buy a Softbank Sharp 812SH or 707SC, i've read around that is necessary a software or sim unlocking for using the phone outside of Japan.

Next march i'll moving to Tokyo for 1 month, so i'm thinking to buy one.. they sell only in contract mode or can i also pay with money ?

In Japan they can unlock? If not, when i'll return to Italy how can i unlock the phone? (I prefer avoid the hypersim)

Do you know if in Italy Softbank's phones have problems or they work fine? (obv i'm not talking about internet functions etc)

Thanks in advance for your support user posted image

here is my observation to malaysia's market:
conservative, strong-herd behaviour

here are the questions for those never see j-phone:
spare-part easy to find or not?
i heard people said very difficult to repair wo, is it true?
i heard people said spare part very expensive wo, is it true?
reliable or not? i can see not so many people use le
not many people use, so 2nd hand value very low lo?

unless someone manage to convince them that the questions above are not a problem at all, then they can have a go in malaysia.

actually unlock the phone is not a legal business, as the provider locked the phone so that to limit the users to use their network only (docomo/softbank/au by kddi). so, to find someone in jp to unlock the phone for you could be difficult. if you want to unlock the phone, probably you need to visit hong kong, malaysia, singapore, or taiwan.

if you prefer avoid hypersim, then you should look for model that can be software unlock(911T,920T), or the seller pre-implant the unlock chip inside the phone(920SH). well, hong kong is the right place for you to get these model.

sorry, so far never meet any softbank user from Itali, nor anyone travel in Itali give us any detail about it. suppost no problem as this depends how good is your network provider is. if the network prover's coverage area is sucks all the time, you might need to revive the sim card with a normal phone for quite a lots of time.

Hmmph ... Actually theres quite a number of people that wanna use j-phones @ Italy . I found out this during my research on SoftBank 706P. But most of the time, they are having problems in unlocking the phones, & thus making it useless. Why don't you try using other phones that are usable in Italy ? Save time & energy.

probably the problem is hypersim and phone problems, i noticed the areas most of the jphones work best are any country with large overseas chinese populations where those sim cards are probably go through more testing for working right for their local telcos.

yeah they are made in china or in taiwan, but i think for mass production in china. Usually working together with the unlockers in taiwan getting the phones to work.

Though one of my hypersims, was made in taiwan a quicksim. lol

I saw at the first page lkylyk posted this "T9 CHINESE INPUT FOR 920SH/904SH/705SH MODEL " tutorial..It seems like the hp is suffering the same fate like mine with 30kb limit sms..can this  method suggested as posted works on 903sh as well? if yes, will english dictionary still be working after conversion, even so able to type any english words anymore? because I do not understand chinese.
What will be the sms word limit after conversion?

Anyone with experiece please advise. thx
