QUOTE(Perfume666 @ Jan 5 2009, 07:38 PM) Which model you're using? Not all j-phones cant use the data packet sending services. 706P can surf internet & gprs. 3G also can be used.If you need to use gprs in order to download the tone, then you can't do it. Due to jphone can't use the data packet related service Added on January 5, 2009, 8:25 pmBtw: Can we download games using WAP or GPRS using our docomo & softbank phones ? I mean those games in the magazines which you have to pay to download them. This post has been edited by xMika: Jan 5 2009, 08:25 PM |

Yeah, I knew that Added on January 5, 2009, 8:25 pmBtw: Can we download games using WAP or GPRS using our docomo & softbank phones ? I mean those games in the magazines which you have to pay to download them. My previous 812SH can use video call From what I know, Softbank and DoCoMo can't download the games, if the data packet related service can't be used For 706P case, why don't you get a unit then report to here? |

QUOTE(lkylyk @ Jan 5 2009, 06:11 AM) 2G(it is GSM, the normal G you are talking about lol) is ok for J-phones models that runs in GSM/GPRS/3G. Ok thanks.it will only lose signal when you are in the areas where there are really low or no signal(which might even hard for normal phones the get signal). i don't think Italy's GSM coverage is worse than Malaysia here...so should be no problem with that. Where there's a will, there's a way lol... QUOTE(xMika @ Jan 5 2009, 08:24 AM) I thought we cant just buy the phone straight away ? Need to sign contract right ? I have a friend who lives in tokyo, i haven't that problem.Lots of procedure & documents like IC card, bills & birth certificate are required to prove that you are staying in Japan. Maybe you can get help from your neighbour in doing this during your stay in tokyo. |

Problem is, when u returning to Italy, you wont be able to use the phone anymore. Unless you use bypass sim. If not, buy official unlocked phones.

I dont think theres a solution for your problem. Only way is to use bypass sim. Or you use software unlocked phones
