hello guys,

Just got back from Proton SC to check the power steering fluid and looks like it is having leakage.. the mechanic even shows me the part where it leaks.. yeah, dripping somemore

he says can claim warranty but not at that SC, said must go to HQ at Shah Alam..

so like, anyone have phone no. of Shah Alam HQ? do I need to make an appointment first or just walk-in?

EDIT: I just called this number, 03-7803 5587 been put on hold for a few minutes, and finally manage to speak to someone(the operator) and he says can make apointment/walk-in ... the place is at Batu 3, Shah Alam, heading to Glenmarie.. Proton Parts Centre right?

should be ok if it's only for a while. a lot of heat generated out from the gearbox due to speed difference between the moving engine flywheel and the still tyre end. as u r not moving, therefore heat dissipation normally using moving air will be null. so this will be up to the gearbox design whether the heat can be handled efficiently in a situation such as yours.

for me, have to travel about 50KM from my house..

I would rather wait for the 1.6L ver. to be released for normal users. Leceh lah buying the taxi version... need to take out the NGV tank sum more ... aisyh ....

ngv is ok wat..many blm user put ngv for their blm...but 1.6 engine...but i think no iafm...

eventually u can juz get a 1.3 blm and then change the block to a gen2 1.6 block.settle.its 1.6 now.

oo...but really is it stable and how much to spend to convert? must change ecu also?

Of course mah ... change engine means need to change ECU oso lorr ... definetely settings all diff. oledi ... i am currently seriusly thinking of swapping my engine for 1.6CPS ... but rite now, the money factor is not on my side ... mebbe need to wait for 2 more years for it to become affordable ...

one question??how to use the side/defroster ventilator???i dont see any button or dial to use it..or BLM dont have this function??so what it use for if it doesnt have the dial for ventilator??

i read the manual that show the defroster..but doesnt show any button to use it...also the windscreen defroster???

if i were u, il go upgrade to 1.6 (change piston blocks from persona), then turbo bolt-on.i doubt it cost same like ur cps too.but the power is highly separated apart.
