since my friend gave me extra rubber mat...y not mod it...haha

ur air intake that helps to improve the torque dip on normal campro and improvement on fuel consumption....

my rm50 also only can run 300km..maybe less. City drive.. Still havent done 1000km service..almost ady

I don't think MT/AT/M-line/B-line affect much of your fuel consumption significantly.

Most prob is driving habit, and the type of road.

Mine mileage about 4000+km, done first service but not second, latest FC (also average):

28.66litre Shell green Rm51.59 can go for about 357.1 km. Which is about 0.14 per km.

80% highway, 20% normal road with traffic lights, aircond off 85% of the time.

Rev..usually more than 3 seldom goes to 4.

Aircond and traffic jam, I realize, suck fuel a lot.

sure manual & auto will effect fc ... it state on website auto use more fuel.
drive on highway will have better fc coz less stop & go or jam, can run more km/h.

haha.. last time i drove in KL, can go for 360++..
coz there speed limit higher compare to penang here...
somemore the road so big..

road arr? many traffic light here in penang.. and 2 lane nia.. always jam.. can oni max 60km/h,speed limit...

11.11liter of shell green can last for 110km average 0.18 per km...

100% city drive.. with medium traffic and aircond never off...

my mileage oni 3500++ nia..

but may be my first service at 1000km service at Selayang KL there using 20w de black oil lo...

will that affect the fc?????????????????????????????????

currently rm30 can give me about 210km

my advice for those who suffers high FC, for those manual users.

don rev high at low gear, example: 1st gear 2krpm is good enough, 2nd gear 3krpm, 3rd gear 3krpm.

the engine definetly feels lighter and smoother...

the difference between 15-50 and 10-40 really significant, from my past service experience.

1st gear 2k rpm is only 10kmh+ only...@@

Shell 10w-40... No problem...

yala..this one is normal style driving,

use 2nd gear accelerate is better..cos 1st gear really short..



i been once used 2nd gear to "run" from stationary condition instead of 1st gear...but nid to rev a bit la...

Hurmmm...this is weird the FC for manual BLM's. Mine's a B-Line manual wiht lots of mixed driving RM50 still can stretch me upto 360km between fillup's. The most I've done was 496km with RM60 init. And yes, I do drive it very fast at times. Upto 165-170km/h at night just for fun. Once a week

Actually fc can be related to how you break in your engine. You break in your engine gently then fc sure teruk la piston rings didt seat properly, best way is to whack the engine nicely.

Just wanted to ask what does the M and S means?

metallic paint and solid paint. metallic paint is better.

define "whack nicely"...haha
my highest rpm is 5k i think...havent 1k service...

Oh...thanks...suddenly cant think bout the paint...

I normally rev 2k then change my gear. I try not to rev too much coz engine very noisy. Unless go up hill then need rev more.

Now I using 5w30 full sync should have better fc but engine sound abit louder. When I start my car in morning, d car feel very light & smooth. Can feel the different when using 10w40.
For those normal driver not rev too much, go try 5w30 maybe u will like it.
