question
my dad's pc has this problem
the pin which connect the power switch is broken.(patah or tercabut not sure) only one pin is broken. asked the pc shop. they say cannot fix. (only one pin is broken and its one of the two power switch pin)..what to do eh? have to buy new mobo ka?

p/s one pin on the motherboard.if cant understand my prob i can put picture

I understand your problem edi. u mean the pins which connect to the front panel power button is broken. if u have good soldering skill u can repair it.

what is the different between PCI-e 16 and PCI-e 8?

will it affect SLI/CrossfireX performance if i slot 1 GPU in 16x and another in 8x?

ok got 1 question..hope it is noob enuff hehehe, im using asus mobo A8R-MVP, and it only support ddr@ddr1... my proc is amd 3800+ x2, so what mobo that support that proc should i change if i wan a ddr2 ram?

bandwidth. the limit is actually depend on the chipset, not slots.
eg. using nForce-SLi chip, 8x+8x. nForce-SLI 32X chip, you can run 16x+16x.
(correct me if i'm wrong)

no, you will never find a s939 mobo support DDR2 because in AMD case, processor control RAMs not mobo.
and.. you won't feel much different using 38X2 with DDR2. believe it or not, go find a friend PC test it rolleyes.gif
if you want a little fast without spending a lot (i see you using new 96GT), learn to play with BIOS settings.

i c.. sad.gif meaning i hv to uprgade everythg then, cry.gif guess what i can do now is upgrading gc, hop it can boost a little hmm.gif .. im planning to take 19'' wide lcd n 4850 or 9800gtx+...hop it got some magic.. btw wat do u mean by play wt bios setting? oc eh?

Actually you have got quite a good setup (from your siggy, I see a 9600GT there brows.gif )... I would suggest upgrade only if you feel your machine is not up to task (e.g. games slow downs). If your PC still serves you well, then no need to upgrade your PC hardware first.. Just get the LCD monitor and see... nod.gif

i have 2 hdd here,

hdd 1 with os, can access to windows but might not sometime before format, after delete the partition during win os setup, the format cant complete as displayed the hdd might be Damaged, cant even format it at other pc, but can still detect.

hdd 2 with storage, can be detect but cant access, appear might be corrupted or unreadable...

so both of this hdd can send to warranty ady?

thankz notworthy.gif i thought my spec is alrealdy aging to much.. the idea for a new gc (4850or98gtx+) come wit 2 reason actualy, 1st this 2 card is rely tempting me hehehehe brows.gif drool.gif and 2ndly becoz i can sell my 96gt without the price dropping too muc as i can see now d price becoming quite cheap even for brand new..
