very techie looking.. nice  rclxms.gif

not cheap la.. if you convert it into how many boxes of chap-fan.. i think it can feed you for +1 month le, ngam bo?
btw, how often do you use the stop watch function?
feed? is very relative? feed as in buying food?
or more.. like paying for a roof, electric, transport, all kinds of bills plus food?

few ppl actually use the stop watch feature. even if 1 use it how many do use it to read the Speed/Rate?
maybe midwivies get to use it more often than Astronauts, granted they need to time contractions.
President Obama also own a Chrono don't think he timed anything.
His vulcain watch maybe more useful, but as President.. Don't need a alarm to keep him in his schedule. LOL

today how many ppl get a watch for practical reasons, aesthetic reasons more likely than anything. sweat.gif

quite clearly that you don't understand cantonese.. *lol* at least something i know about you.
why don't you learn how to speak for yourself? instead of masquerading via a 3rd-party reference?

how well do you know obama? perhaps he uses his chrono to time his couming during lfap-time? (to see if he breaks yesterday's record) or perhaps to see how long can he put out a stream of fart via his single-valve, s.o.c.h tummy? there're lots of possibility what one can do with a chrono.. otherwise it would be a disincentive to get a 7750, don't you think?

at least i use the compass function on my watch more than your laboo would admit.. the barometer would confirm if rain is imminent on it's way too.. rclxms.gif now how's that for practicality?

well, I hardly use my 7750, besides timing how fast I can ans exam qns in the past and timing contractions LOL.
didn't wanna spend the time to think that way.
Thanx you for speaking out for yourself. I should have learn to do that 1st. Didn't know ppl are interested in nobody use of his Chrono watch.
masquerading? abit harsh man...

I believe a good majority of the ppl out there are doing a disincentive to a Chrono watch. I am 1 of them sign... sweat.gif
I seriously doubt ppl like sembilan (getting a Sinn ), Apple_Wannabe (thinking of a Tag Chrono), bengang13 (own a Tag F1 Chrono), hako (getting a IWC Top Gun), andrew1st (own seiko Criteria) use their chrono much. or perhaps they didn't think of all the possibility like U did. Love to see their input.

To those ppl who had done their watch a disservice or disincentive to their watch, what would U like them to do to make U happy?

I only attempted a silly/stupid guess base on the fact he is a president in a bad time. U can think of the possiblily he will be doing despite all the hell the news is reporting he is getting. Well, DO know Obama more than me! Can PM me his direct line to his mobile?

ya don't understand Cantonese "pinyin", "laboo" also Cantonese? forgive me, but is there official Cantonese pinyin out there?
I wonder if refugeez86 understand Cantonese.

after watching video i decided to buy Tissot Le Locle , it's design plain, simple, big enough for my wrist and cheap considering it uses Valjoux 7750
check this out
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3jJMG46DP0
tag is too expensive for me >..<

some say that they can check time using their phone but if you use your 5 figure watch to check it, it will make a difference for sure
i'm not saying expensive watch is a thing you should go around boasting
even if i'm very rich and there's a watch that can really let people know that i'm DAMN rich but the look/quality sucks........i won't even take a look at it

to me a watch is a symbol of status + an accessory

hhmmnn.. probably this time around you've "over-read" into what i've said?
it's not what makes me happy by what others do for me.. but you're plainly pigeon-hole(stereotyping) others based on some pretext..

based on your own pretext, then you might as well rip off the sub-dial hands, replace the dial to a more sterile dial on your 7750? what's the point, right? vanity speaks louder at the end of the day for you, right?

i now have a clearly idea that you're not even chinese *lol*.. (don't worry, refugeez86 probably understand it clearly!)
note - cantonese is a dialect, henceforth it has no written format.. pinyin, on the other hand, is a mandarin form of writing. (you're definitely trying to shoot in the dark here *lol*)

i'm happy that you're proud of your chrono ownership..

hhmmnn.. i doubt that there will be much difference in accuracies when it comes to quartz-analogue vs. quartz digital. if both movement are set by the same maker..

it's still a quartz (and quartz are very accurate) the display (analogue vs digital) is just the output.. and i think your engtao quartz chrono is also those 0-jewel type, right? so friction is not a major issue? unless you want to factor in strong gravitational pull (high g) on those marker hands..?

moving parts in a watch create frictions.. and thereon, wear-&-tear from the frictions over time.

oil/lubricant can dry up over time (hence a periodic service is recommended)

so the best alternative for an mechanical watch (correction - some quartz do have jewels too) is to install jewels on those moving parts so that the metal(e.g brass) will rub against the jewels instead on another metal..

metal + jewel = less friction (relative speaking)

you don't need to worry as your casio don't have such problem.. it's like a electric prius that don't even need engine oil *lol*

the main reason i got the Chrontimer is because it's semi digital. the second, date, day are in digital. i do not get the second hand revolving the watch. and also i do not need to adjust the date at teh end of each month.

and no, i do not use the stop watch very often- rarely but i do...if i need to

it looks great on your wrist.. sterile dial and the size of it.. can command some respect (would be perfect if it can stop bullets!).. it wears comfortable on your wrist? how's the accuracies?

you mean the edges are sharp on the case? thankfully it's not a canteen crown!! otherwise it'll poke your hand @3 o'clock each time you move your wrist upward.

my parnis was a little sharp on the lug-end of the watch, where the strap meets. fortunately it's facing inwards.

yup i think. it's a 'homage' watch. most probably bnr and stowa, not iwc as what the seller claimed.
