Hey guys.
My mum has Gucci and Maurice Lacroix watches that need repairs.
Any of you know good places in KL or JB to do so?
Thanks.

1st watch: WAV5152.FC6231 retail is at US$5900 or RM$20.7K, after the usual 20%, no way can buy at rm$7K
2nd watch: CV2A10.BA0796 retail at US$3700 or RM$13K, also not possible
3rd watch: CV2010.BA0786 retail at US$3200 or RM$11200, now getting warmer but still a little off.
4th watch: CAV515B.FC6231 I am sure not possible! est close to US$20K!!

If I am not wrong Tag Calibre 16 is base off 7750. kinda expensive. rather pay for a inhouse movement.

with this budget I would get a a chrono from grey market for the best deal. Mech watches if U do service them every 4-5yrs, they can last a lifetime!
(some Perrelet are inhouse movement these most likely heavily mod ETA or uising Soprod since they have bought this movement company, check out those blue screws too!)
- Perrelet Big Date Chronograph
- Perrelet Steel Big Date Chronograph

- Jean Richard Paramount Chrono Agusta Limited (using new JR1000 inhouse movement, no display back)
- Jean Richard Black JUVENTUS Bressel Chrono (using new JR1000 inhouse movement, no display back)

wanted a regular VALJOUX 7750 movement
- Sinn
- Fortis
- Ball (some Ball are using Soprod movements)

- Epos

- Mido (can even get a COSC chrono watch!)

mod VALJOUX 775X
- Omega (only on grey market like Perrelet and Jean Richard)
- Longines

patryn33,

say, would you happen to know of any service places that provides re-lume on watch dials and markers?
i thought about getting a bottle of lume-tec c3.. but i don't have the tools or expertise to do it myself.

(note - my bad at not nailing down the specifics previously.. anyway, anything above rm2k is considered expensive to me. i don't mind plonking down rm200k on an investment that i'm familiar with, but i still have difficulties grasping the investment pov for watches, let alone if it's just for the kick!)

what do u mean by a chronotimer? chronograph?
if so, at retail level around RM$4500, usual 20% around $3600.

I don't think so. Gucci group is pretty big like LVMH, wouldn't scoop so low.
unlike Fossils movement maybe Japan/Swiss.
Gucci watches either ETA or Ronda. Thank God Gucci watches not priced like a Lexus many watches just under US$1K, so driving toyota no problem. when U say Lexus I think of watches priced above US$10K. sweat.gif

found a few ppl here talking about where to get their watch serviced.
Quite a number of ppl dislike the service from Watches Of Switzerland Repair Centre in Atria Damansara.
someone had good review of AH Lee at Wangsa Maju police station.
