One of the Sales rap in THG at pavilion very friendly. I enjoy talk with him and he give me lolex and tudor catalog when straight away i asked for one. Cotinx at starhill claim that they dont have catalog (or they not interested in giving up). The lolex butik in klcc one of the sales rep quite nice too even i admit to him i cant afford lolex. He also own an old hand winding lolex in need of repair. Never the less manage to touch subs and daytona's

Go to Hang Thai...the branch at Bangsar Village...look for fella call Frank...havent met him but very nice chap....get to know him from another forum and he's always patient in answering my questions on price, advice on brands..etc...

Added on March 24, 2010, 1:08 amI think those BR Instruments look pretty substantial and don't have any plastic looking qualities? Even the PVD models look like rugged metal? Perhaps maybe the black ceramic - I can see how those might look like plastic.
Maybe I am just biased towards the watch because I like it. =) Heheh, it happens.

BTW, Franck Mueller Long Island - love it! Very expensive though. =/ Relatively new to the watch world without as much history, but still a nice looking watch that is quite popular among aficianados. Agree with you though, 60% off is a really good deal...almost too good. =)

i must admit im impressed by all the input the sifus gave here.. btw, im looking for my first swiss watch.. as im new in the workforce, my buying power also not that much.. perhaps in the range of 2k to 3k... any suggestions? im eyeing a tag heuer formula 1 chronograph..will it be a good purchase?

then you go to the topic `can anyone send me a link to the favourite Omega AD'.

apparently, there is a US based AD selling Omega at low range of pricing. But they cant advertise it on the forum. So you need to go to that topic and say you would like to know about this AD...

Then, you will receive a pm to tell you who the AD is...you can then contact him via email...

i was quoted about USD2695 for leather and USD 2765 for bracelet. After adding in delivery and rest, you may end up paying less than RM9500 for a brand new PO, which i think still cheaper than getting from our local AD...

however, the issue is whether you're comfortable buying online. I know this US based AD is quite popular among the Omega forummers in watchuseek.com. But whether you can rely on him for international sales, i am not sure....

thanks for the input.. it seems like im more likely to get tag f1 chrono.. but i prefer the red wan more than the orange dial.. the black needle contrast well with the red dial.. btw one question tho, how much did u get urs for? the cheapest im able to get is RM3700 less 26% discount by someone from lyn.. anyone here able to get cheaper?

I got it for second hand, so its cheap
I would say 26% is really good discount, go fot it
But make sure it come with 2 years manufacturer warranty, everything in the box, i.e. inner box, outter box, user manual, warranty card.
And one more thing, the serial number in the watch matched with warranty card.

No la, I bought it last year. You can try ebay, lyn, malaysian watch forum, lelong & mudah (beware of fake!!). If you can take more risk, timezone, watchuseek.

Maybe I want to sell mine is the price is right, hehe. You interested?

5K can get a entry level non Chrono tag. Aquaracer series very likely and they are just as good as Carrera series.

ball watches prices are pretty high today.. 5K don't think can get a Chrono. those date version is always possible.

oris and Fortis... Chrono maybe out of your reach too.
tissot, hamilton Chrono are within your reach.

cheapest will be the quartz if I am not wrong.. retailing ~RM$9.7k
easy way.. check out this site and do the conversion on the price b4 discount to get an idea.. U'll not get discount as high as online for sure.
