Frankly speaking, do you play all those HUGE game on your iPhone all the time? Or you just install them and put there? Maybe open it once a while?

For me I don't install huge games on iPhone. It's still a phone. I rather play games on computer. I only play some mini/puzzle games on iPhone, where each round maybe took 1~3 minutes time to kill some free time.

I plan to put mostly e-books and games, is like what you said. only those short games

Also, i was wondering about the data feee. If i buy it off hand, i have no free data. But I'm in uni most of the time with wifi and also at home, also having wifi. SO i do not need the data plan right?

If only putting ebooks and those mini games and some media files (music, photo, short video), 16GB will be more than enough. FYI, each small games only took 10~40mb of size.

If you have WiFi access all the time, yes you don't need data plan. Unless you really need to be online all the time i.e when traveling, having meals, walking. Like me I also having WiFi at home and at work, so my 500mb/month free data plan only use less than 100mb per month. Of course if you do not sign up data plan, never turn on Cellular data and 3G, or else you'll be shocked. shocking.gif

for digi iphone plan , they have a quota of it. If u can go there early in the morning once they open shop, u confirm can get on the spot. i not sure for the without plan and also maxis. but so far there are no shortage anymore in the market i think.

Dont know about the card, should be no problem if their terminal allows it
Yes, you can terminate but there would be penalty that you would have to pay

hi, i know there are already lots of post regarding this. but i need a confirmation, because some people said you must bring the owner of the phone with you to claim for the warranty, while some says you just need to bring the warranty card (although it is under different name)

Which one is correct?

if you have the warranty card, you don't need the owner.

just bring the phone and the warranty card.

I guess the problem you will face is not owner, it's whether digi / maxis got stock for replacement set.

I'm in the waiting list for month+, still no replacement set (digi).

Nope. You still use the faulty set until they call you.

I guess once they call you, you backup your data then bring the set & warranty card. I was told, they will swap the set & warranty card only.

what do you think the rate of getting faulty iphone 4 here? seems like lots of people getting their iphone 4, and then getting some problems on second day or a week after use.

i am really surprised to c the price of iphone4 rising so much lately as i was told its sold out in almost every country. We all know that singapore app store is S$888 for 16GB, but i was told all their stock was sold out due to mobile phone seller buying bulk qty... which until today, its still no stock..

The 1st batch that i bought for my fren is about RM2500 for 32GB from singapore shops in lucky plaza. Just last month i went there again to get another 32GB for my wife, and it turn out to be S$1380 = RM3250.

I would like to warn anyone thinking of getting iphone4 in singapore, esp mobile phone shops in lucky plaza, dun get conned by their method like me. Normally we ask around few shops and get from the cheapest quote. Then at the time of payment they will tell u different stories.

They quoted me S$1020 16GB and S$1200 32GB, so i take the 16GB.
At the time of payment, they said that is S$1120 + S$180 (for unlock). They insisted that they told me 1120 but me and my wife heard its 1020, and they didn't mentioned that we have to pay for unlock fee. i told them i4 has been unlock from factory but they said new batch is locked. So end up i choose the 32GB (only S$80 difference). i got so tulan and really wanna smash their shop... but since its valentine's present for my wife and we are rushing for dinner, i have to bear with it. so guys, just ask properly before u buy ur i4...

And just yesterday, i get my wife to buy me a 16GB from Hong Kong at HKD6800 = RM2,700 (with free screen protector and casing)

Can we actually buy outright w/o contract from maxis or digi? i was told that they run out of stock too... and few frenz who get from maxis faced problem with their iphone4 which they need to sent back to get replacement...

i wonder y apple doesnt want to sell outright in apple dealer shops like machines etc... thereby giving chances for mobile phone retailers to jack up the price..

yes, u can either buy from maxis or digi.. those shops that u mentioned are "water goods" muhahahhaa.. meaning they imported from other countries.. and thats where i got it..

i was thinking maybe it would still be cheaper to buy from telco company and break the contract.. rather than to let those shops earn. hehe...

like i said, prices increased alot lately.
