I don't think I use a lot of space, (my music library is about 4gig or less, don't intend to include a lot of shows,) but this is my first Iphone, and I'm not sure whether a 16Gb is enough since I have no idea about App sizes etc. For example, on average, how many Apps can fit a 16GB Iphone 4, without movies or music?
My iPhone 4 is 16GB, which is quite enough for me at the moment. Currently I have around 130 applications, some photos and e-books on my phone.
They take up around 7GB, my apps alone take up 5.6GB. FYI, I don't put any music or video on my phone and I'm just an average gamer.
Most of the applications are relatively small, except for some large gaming and GPS applications. The largest game I have on my phone is around 200MB.
It all depends on how you want to use your phone.
But I personally think that 4GB of music might be inadequate, especially if you're one of those people that get bored of music in about 1 to 2 weeks and have to constantly update their music library, like me, then I'd suggest you to go with 32GB as the space goes quick.
Also, keep in mind that you never get the full amount of memory. The real capacity is usually smaller than the specified number, just like our computer.
The capacity on a 16GB iPhone is 14GB.
The capacity on a 32GB iPhone is 29GB.
