Machines, ? where else ? thanks =) if u buy from forum/phone shop, apart from the usual inspection, make sure it's an unlocked set. check the model number n refer to the pinned purchase guide QUOTE(buyoq @ Feb 14 2011, 11:05 AM) if u think buying from forum is risky and dont want to bind to maxis/digi contract, http://www.apple.com is the best for you. u have no idea don't you? |

QUOTE(huiqing88 @ Feb 10 2011, 06:25 PM) I'm currently on hotlink youthclub with iPhone free 500mb plan. I would say that this suits me best. A reload of RM100 could last me 3 months ~ half year. (I'm also light user, and I don't need data plan actually). yes i'm on YouthClub. very happy using it. so i guess, i'll just stay on with this and get a non-contract ip4. can i know which is more worth getting? the 16gb or 32gb? i know many ppl say that its actually up to my usage, but sometime i think that i may regret if 16gb is not enough. but for me the price is already to expensive. therefore, i need recomendations. If you're on YouthClub, I suggest you to keep the plan cause its no longer available now. |

Difficult to recommend lar... If now recommend you buy 16GB one later you find not enough you come blame me how Money wise lar... depends on your budget lor... For me 16GB is more than enough, I only sync about 1.5GB of songs, 1GB of photos, 4GB of apps and that's all... I don't really play those "big" games on iPhone... the screen too small and the gaming experience still not so satisfying la... LOL So I only play those mini/puzzle games and some useful/utility/daily apps on it... so basically they won't consume too much capacity... but... I'm using 32GB one... |

Objective: To buy iPhone 4 without any contract and used in China (GuangZhou) Confuses: I ask several experts and many giving me different answers. Some say we need to do jailbreak and unlock so that the phone can used in China Telco. Some say unlock is not necessary, it may compatible with other country. Some say to unlock the iPhone must perform jailbreak as prior. Questions: 1) Where can we buy iPhone 4 without any contract? 2) Do we need to jailbreak or unlock the iPhone so that it can used in other China Telco? 3) Can we unlock the iPhone without jailbreak? If yes, how? |

1. only from Maxis. even then, many places prefer to sell with contract, cos they get commission for that.
2. Not for Malaysian iPhones. 3. no. |

Questions:
1) Where can we buy iPhone 4 without any contract? Maxis and Digi do sell. but because no stock, so they only sell it with contract. The easiest way is Singapore Apple online store. 2) Do we need to jailbreak or unlock the iPhone so that it can used in other China Telco? China have some restriction on their wifi frequency or smth like that. so even u get an official unlock set from china, there are still difference in it. 3) Can we unlock the iPhone without jailbreak? If yes, how? any unlock or jailbreak phone that u do on your own will void ur warranty. so if u want to unlock it urself, why not jailbreak it as well since the warranty already void. |
