guys, any pros&cons for the Lowepro NOVA 3 AW?

i just tried out the tamron 17-50mm 2.8 today. Shop selling at RM 1650. Is it a good price arr?

I'm looking for a fast lens to replace my kit. Any other alternatives besides the tamron 17-50 2.8 and sigma 24-70 2.8? budget around 1.5k lo.

1-2 weeks ...seem to be a international version

i will recommend 24-70 because the price is about the same...hahah

sport usually u cannot stand closer...normal kit lens or 55200...when zoom closer to the object...aperture sure smaller...hard to take action picture...indoor sport even harder...hehehe...perhaps SAL70200G + F58AM?...

i ever consider 70200G b4..but think its too good for a noob like me..don wan to under-utiliz it....somemore if i buy..50% salary gone..dat month need to eat grass already..lol

seram: I would use a bright telephoto lens e.g.:

Minolta/Sony 50mm F1.4
Minolta/Carl Zeiss 85mm F1.4
Carl Zeiss 135mm F1.8 (my favorite)

Of course, if you're on a budget and you want a bright telephoto, there is:

Jupiter-9 85mm F2.0 M42 mount
Tamron 90mm F2.8 Macro
Vivitar 135mm F2.8 M42 mount

Unfortunately, even with all that you will have to increase ISO to at least ISO800 for sports. M42 manual focus lenses will be a b**** to focus with action (but how did people shoot sports before AF was invented?) So I'd go for the Tamron 90mm F2.8 Macro.

But still consider whether want to extra SAL 75300 lens set, A200W.
Any comment on SAL 75300 Lens...

75300 for starters is still ok but after sometime you will ask for better ones
