I get a A200K for less than RM1450 and A200W (for my friend) less than RM1850... Just camera + lens without freebies...

save for some chromatic aberration, finicky AF and distortion, the SAL75300 is rather good. hard to find a telephoto like that which does not come with absurdly heavy front elements for well-balanced weight distribution.

what the difference between A200 and A300? I did a comparison at sony.com.my but cant still cant point out the main difference except for the price.

and which Sony Alpha would you suggest to a beginer? My bugget can strecth to rm2.5k.

a300 = live view
a200 = no live view

sell ur F42 to others, F58 poison far far stronger than F42. I 70% changed my mine to get a F58 over the F42...
