Nobody cares about the auto industry, which has been struggling for years. When shit hits the fan, now they need a bailout? Of course is temporary relief. These guys only know how to spend money and not cut cost like how efficiently Japanese carmakers have been reducing cost. American, big horsepower, high maintainence. Same motto for their cars.

Added on December 13, 2008, 1:38 amAs usual Dow rallies up, how predictable.

Goreng pisang, goreng ayam, goreng nasi, goreng pasaran bursa, semua organisasi yang nak bersaing mesti mematuhi prinsip pentadbiran yang berkesan dan perkara seperti Auto Industri ni perlu bersaing lebih disebabkan

that is a weak rebound without any fresh catalyst. Expectation on bailout agreement actually priced in, this sudden reverse is just a surprise. This Christmas is going bad ... jingle hell jingle hell

depend on current share market price on that day,

better not to do so its dangerous, erm not bursa, instead ur brokerage firm force sale ur share

HI Aoisky!

Thx for solving my problem. How about if that day no buyer offer the current price? For example the current price is RM 0.015 but the buyers only offer RM 0.005.

Another question is i have finished using my RMxxxx in my investment acc, but i still have two times of RMxxxx in the acc provided by the cimb bank (3 times of deposit), so the brokerage firm can straight away deduct the money or i still need to deposit moneyfor paying the commerze-ce?

That's not a week rebound, from 8300+ to 8600+. That's 200 point swing; and closed positive.

Don't fool yourself, this bear rally is strong.

I'd ask cherroy this question before. but just forgotten is this apply to sale oso?
sale twice in dif session in a single day charge under one contract?

Same one, buy and sell transaction has no different.

As long as done in the same day (morning + afternoon session), same stock, all transaction will be aggregated/accumulated as one contract.

What's a "bear rally"?
I know bear means stock market will drop.
A rally usually means stock market will go up.
A bear rally means...up or down?

Stock market won't be go down everyday one, once drop too much and become seems too cheap, then people come into market to bargain and buy, which send the market go higher in quite a drastically way just like US market last few days, as once market goes up, people become more confident, and short-seller need to cover quick, which eventually make up bear market rally normally come in quite fast and drastic.

But once rising too fast, too much, people realise fundamental is still not good, then back to reality, and market goes down again.

To make it simple, a bear rally is just a small rally in the bear market.... wink.gif

I'm sure you know what a bull run is....

Another animal in stock trading is the cash cow wub.gif , which means the company is full of cash reserves.... biggrin.gif

As reported in the recent news, resin business is being hit quite hard, even Petronas resin factory need to shut down as stockpile is simply too high, can shut down for weeks without producing still have enough stock to sell.

Good side is oil price is dropping singificantly which make their cost pressure being removed.

Their business is volatile in nature, but at 0.75, it is more than 60-70% discount on its NTA which stand at 2.xx. Dividend history is 6 cents annually, but don't know can sustain or not in the near future.

Don't mean good or bad, judge your own, buy at your own risk.

Thanks Cherroy. notworthy.gif Like what you said their business might get hard hit due to higher inventory / stock pile. One more think is their debt to equity is about 0.5.

A bear rally means the market is rallying upwards as a correction while remaining in a bear market.

My tips for forumers:
(no you guys don't have to pay me a dime if you made money)

LONG financials, long commodities, long euro, long carry trade.

Dow to rally to 9500-10000 end of the month. Mark this post. You hear it from me first.

I thought you previously advised forumers to sell all their stocks during this period? hmm.gif

Edit : I think a lot of us read news too and there are already many predictions that the Dow might rally soon.... we did not hear it from you first....

TA securities has already predicted that KLSE will rally in Q1 '09.... possibly peak at 950-1050...

However, they also predicted that KLSE will then drop to new lows after that (around 550-770) in Q2-Q3 '09.... that would be a bad bad time to hold shares.... sleep.gif

Many people have also predicted that a bull run might be coming for the Dow (and other markets).... one even going to the extent of saying Dec 15 as the starting point!!!

Just remember that these are all predictions wink.gif

For me, I plan to keep my stocks until KLSE rallies (if it ever does), then sell off in Q1 '09 while buying some defensive stocks (the stocks that don't drop much) while waiting to see what happens in Q2/Q3....
