For previous resort case,

If you mean to invested 10K in resort, you buy 50 lot of 2.10 vs 10 lot of 10.50 (if resort never split it share), they are totally the same stock, same holding % in the company.

But I can bet people will say resort is cheap at 2.10 but expensive at 10.50 (if resort never split until now), but they are the same!

those ppl who buy stock base on the surface price is consider new hand or gamblers. we should looking at the whole company value before entering or buying the stock. for example the maybank now worth RM25 Billion, it possible worth RM30 Billion during the economy recovery, that mean the price may shoot to RM6.10. Just to promote MAYBANK. brows.gif thumbup.gif

i suggest rookie traders, just make imaginary buys and sells to see your own progress. if u have small capital, its hardly worth playing the market, due to the insane commission. with like 1k or less, u gain very very little, but u'll feel the pinch of every loss like crazy. i suggest saving first and practice imaginary trades

The market cannot be sustained by pure hype alone. Fundamentals will come to play soon enough when the hysteria dies down. Those smart traders will LEAVE once the room gets too crowed. Don't get caught holding the bag.

Added on December 11, 2008, 2:53 amFor those who knows how to read DJIA chart, daily activity reflects shooting star with stochastics in the OB region. As i said, the market cannot be sustained by hope and bailouts.
