The WCT's cancellation project send market back to reality. Even those already being awarded the project, by no mean, it is 100% will be carrying on. Especially if oil price doesn't go up, which mean less income for the oil producing countries, those highly lucrative and massive project one in those countries, is always got a risk.

I say you're 200% correct. Im in Oil and Gas Industry. Even the company's earning is billion USD, this year we have some less critical offshore project on hold until recovery is seen. A lot of last year contracts with 3rd party are now being negotiated.

For example last year during high oil price and high steel price and related, 1 day barge hire cost USD375K now is USD190-200K. It may goes down to circa USD$150K a day. Its over 50% discount now.

Now they say Oil is to trade at US $ 70 -90 , second half  of Year 2009. hmm.gif

Sometimes traders have better say than the suppliers/oil users.
*
speculation purely, no fundamental. what basis when Oil hit 140$? at that time, Lehman+CNN+Bloomberg always, openly said OIL wil hit $200 b4 Xmas.

When companies goes bankrupt, Oil price oso kaput. Speculator hve to liquidate their trade to cover other losing investments.

No doubt, Oil will goes up to 50-70$ or back to $100

zamans98, bse on current price, the conversion will be,  0.71(Ex price) + 0.075 = 0.785 ,  1 to 1 conversion to SAPCRES at 0.855

meaning u can convert from 0.785 to 0.855, u earn the 0.07 per share. But normally when it is about to expiry, the company will manipulate the price on the parent/wa share so that investor like us always at the losing end.

Thanks. I need a lot of $$ if I wanna convert..
