personally don't really like megalodon.
You might wanna try it 1st before getting 1 yourself.
Zowie Hammer is not a bad choice if you don't care too much about its appearance.
If you do, Steelseries 7H USB maybe?

If you wan pure for fps gaming, then should go get the 5h V2 with USB. That's if you go CC or LAN parties often. Else get the one w/o usb would be fine. But then again, 5h V2 is more to treble then bassy type. If you wan both music/movies and gaming, then Siberia can be one of your consideration.

If you're not keen on the Kave then perhaps consider the Siberia V2 from SteelSeries. smile.gif

With the usb, you can get the same sound whenever you go. Especially if you go CC, LAN parties or tournaments. Not much difference.

I second this.
USB version gives you this,

and the non-USB version doesn't come with one.

and it also gives you virtual 7.1 tongue.gif

Sound quality is the same, bass is there just not overpoweringly boomy. The USB soundcard simply enhances the overall sound and ensures a similar sound quality anywhere. For the extra RM50 you need to pay, it's a worthwhile investment as buying it individually needs you to form out RM169.

Even audiophile headsets can make good balance for gaming and music so it depends on your budget. If we just stick to gaming brands, I would say SteelSeries Siberia V2 or 7H. biggrin.gif

I'm using Steelseries 5H V/2 for the past 1 1/2 year and I have to say it's awesome both comfort for long hours and performance.
PS: Never buy Razer Headphones, they're bad, really bad.

Maybe a Siberia V1 with mic, sometimes they drop to below RM200. Otherwise, like TechnoG said, Orca with capalang mic.
