QUOTE(H3LLKEEPER @ May 2 2010, 06:50 PM) lol you want to utilise the g35 for handphones? look weird g35 is comparable with the steelseries siberia v2 although v2 doesnt provide 7.1 VIRTUAL surround but positioning was tip top..why dont you give it a try yes siberia v2 can utilise on handphone.. if you want to use the mic also you can purchase the phone adapter from steelseries which cost around 60-70 The Siberia is the only one you can use with mobile devices or mp3 players since it uses the 3.5mm audio jacks instead of the USB port..

QUOTE(shueking @ Sep 26 2010, 05:07 PM) Using a alienware tactx headset now. It's kinda pricey, for gaming its good but for movies it kinda sucks. Well it's basically the same OEM as the SS 5Hv2 so it lacks in that aspect.

The Siberia V2 with USB currently gives the best deal for the SS soundcard. Add RM50 and you got it compared to the RM179 you would pay if you purchase it individually.

QUOTE(victor2212 @ Oct 3 2010, 11:50 AM) overall it looks quite good execpt the mic part. The mic made it look cheapo. Should have used a plastic shroud instead of the foam.

The SS soundcard's only advantage is that it provides virtual 7.1 surround sound. However, at an extra RM50 from the non-USB version it's worth it. Otherwise don't need to consider it much.

But audiophile headsets can't match a gaming headset when it comes to gaming. Comparable but loses out in cases.

QUOTE(soundsyst64 @ Apr 27 2011, 12:01 PM) About siberia v2, is there any difference between non-usb with usb headset? (the sound quality especially bass.) Sound quality is the same, bass is there just not overpoweringly boomy. The USB soundcard simply enhances the overall sound and ensures a similar sound quality anywhere. For the extra RM50 you need to pay, it's a worthwhile investment as buying it individually needs you to form out RM169. Take an Audio Technica M50. It's a monitoring headphone but has a slight bass emphasis. It's awesome for most usage and it doesn't cost you half a kidney.
