for gaming is it better to have surround sound(7.1/5.1) or just stereo one?

sing 5.1 headphones will surely give you exact surround, better surround than stereo headphones, even the best ones, but surround "5.1" headphones have one major weakness, they have to compromise most of the sound quality to get multiple drivers just to make that surround sound. On the other hand using stereo headphones won't give you better positioning than surround headphones, even with effects like dolby headphones or CMSS3D, but to compensate that, some of them have really amazing sound staging(imaging) that almost projects the same surround effects just like surround headphones and since they only have to make 2 drivers on each headphones, of course all the sound quality of each drivers will be far superior than surround headphones.

Waiting for G930 which has yet to arrive on our shores.

Might consider bringing one in, anything I have to be concerned about in regards with the Malaysian customs?

I'm looking for a headset (preferably headset, unless really no choice, then I will opt for headphone) which will be use mainly for gaming.
Since I doubt I'll ever buy a sound card, is USB headsets/headphone a better option for me?
Anyways, my budget is RM200 to RM500..

Anyone know if someone in Lowyat is selling the Sennheiser PC350/PC360 at a good rate. I know the price should be around RM700+

I'm thinking of getting the Steelseries 7H USB but can't decide if it's good enough after reading the reviews. I wouldn't mind trying to get http://www.astrogaming.com/products/detail/4/A40-Headset/ but wonder who can bring this item to Malaysia. Really sadlah sometimes got awesome headsets but not in the market.

I can get it from US/UK/Australia but warranty is what troubles me haiz.
