I am just waiting for self-profess "hardcore gamers" to come in to preach to innocents gamers that were conned by Nintendo's fad, gimmicky Wii console.

"Wii is a fad!!!"
"Wii is for sissy / kiddie / girls / housewives / grandma / fat ppl..."
they will proclaimed.

"Wii is not for hardcore gamers!"
"Wii destroyed the gaming community!"
"Wii has no hardcore games!"
they will cry.

Oh the hardcore gamers are so predictable.

Wii is not suitable for me cause of wiimote or a Nunchuck controller...
affected my sport life(Basketball)..

risiking my wrist cuz of wii than basketball?
i would choose basketball.. than a Wii..

so far I dont see any people like that, not on this tread at least. Those arguments are kinda old. Maybe those 'gamers' are busy playing 'games'.

Sometimes you gotta have faith in people.

The wii is the cheapest and the most eye catching.....I think many of the ps2 owners choose to upgrade to a wii because of this.......

I bought it for Zelda & Mario,
Mario Galaxy is epic,
but i am still waiting for Zelda.
(Twilight Princess is a GameCube game damn it!)

I don't decide to buy which console only because it dominates the market more. That just means you're following the herd. Not saying the wii sucks, I'd sure get one instead of a 360 if I have more cash to spare.

Let nintendo have them monies, at least they won't go under while they wait for me to buy their product.

Nintendo Wii do make first good impression to the general public 1st time... its cheap, simple. fun, family-oriented console....spread word of mouth saying wii is next gen fun gaming... no wonder they sold a lot n making profits due to innovative wiimote....

six years ago, nintendo was in trouble... now they are back on top...n prove the experts wrong...
