haha guys, i think DarkNet means that if u r staying in Spore and the trouble of bringing in new electronics items from M'sia can drop by the suntec or orchard to seek for better deal rather than paying "kopi" money to custom biggrin.gif

So far i see only cheaper ACPP with new purchase of Mac's that's all~

hehe! as usual @ epicenter don't update much on the website and didn't tell much about what give u can have.(I've no idea why) If you'll have time, come by to epicenter and ask for the promotion they have. smile.gif

and about the ACPP + free 4GB RAM, I think most of the Apple Reseller Store offer this even EPI do.

Thanx.. i am happy to hear that.. Cause last time, i saw a price charges on the service counter on Epic center table. Just having a doubt.

Technically, which reseller shop having more professional in fixing problems?

I feel Machines peoples are just into sales more than into technical stuff..

In a word, can get settle my case at the same hour. Like no need to fill form, and wait for call to inform what is the faulty inside machine by next day.

And Epic center seems to have proper workshop. But its gonna takes me a longer journey to drop by there.. haha..

I don't mind the long walking if they provide me on the spot checking & fixing whatever they can at the same hour.

AFAIK... ppl working at the service desk have some sort of qualification from apple... (so they bukan 'calang calang punya orang' ^.^) So u can hold them responsible if they screw up ur machine, somehow. So to answer that question generally, there are no people more pro at one reseller than the other...

Owh come on.. u sure ur talking to the right people? U want technical talk to the service guys.. dun ask the sales team techie questions, nt all sales person that tech savy. (eg ask what exact intel chipset da macbook pro is using) sure they dunno wan. Besides rember , google knows it all.. go do ur research 1st

service centre you mean?

everything you want can only be attained at an official Apple Store, service parts are all from SG. Theres no such thing as on the spot repair when it comes to hardware repairs, software yes. Parts need to be ordered and get customs clearance and stuff

i dun overnite my mbp within these day.

Press the power on, i saw the grey screen splashing.. then LCD failure already.

I only using my machine during night hour. Consider a moderate usage lor.

hell man. THey don't allow 1 to 1 replacement.. aiks.. i so no confident later they will going to take care my precious while exchange the LCD hardware.

Just purely bad luck.. Now my friend laugh at me wif my stupid pricey mbp.. doh.gif

Memang pro..two weeks only.. Haha.. Macbook pro'blem' ..i name it.

The staff said go to VR technology can fastern up the fixing process. Maybe within 1 week can settle. For Machine. they will spent 3 days to troubleshooting, and another 1 week plus to queue up for replacing the faulty parts.

Anyone here try VR Tech service before so far?

i'm sure you can get them to jot down your serial number, let them order the parts first, wait till the parts arrive, then only you send in your mbp for repair...

oops... my bad...! tongue.gif

i forgot... 1-to-1 exchange on Apple's internal side....

however i find that Apple's policy is sometimes ridiculous considering that sometimes even though workable parts are broken, Apple still insist on sending it in before ordering, especially laptops, owners are deprived of their machine to work on....
