I'm based in HQ... so I'm not in any particular retail store...

if your iPod classic needs looking at, may I recommend machines @ The Gardens, cos the guys there *do* know what they're doing smile.gif

@ Trong-FC
the renovations for the machines in 1U aren't complete, so we can't release the opening date just yet.
I believe it will be before Christmas, but that's just my own opinion...

@Edoras,
please check the T&C available on the machines website, it does mention that promo items are not part of the rebates program.

as mentioned on the site, the promotion ends 27th Dec, or when stocks run out.

sorry, I can't discuss the mechanics of the promotion on a public forum... that's not even my department smile.gif

dey ... talk about wrong explanation.

Singapore dollar is stronger, due to their economy stronger.
how come this little ciku of a country, not even bigger than Malaysia, can become 1st world economy?

we started at the same place, didn't we?
how come Malaysian RM is not even worth half a Singapore dollar?

main problem is not tax on IT goods, main problem is the rampant corruption from the consumer all the way to the top. since everyone is enjoying the benefits, no one want to make a change. those who campaign for change are also silenced sad.gif

for machines, we only carry KTA for our promo...
if you prefer a CTO (customised via the Apple Online store) then you'd receive the Hynix or Samsung chips.
Hynix & Samsung do not sell these chips at retail level, only at the OEM level, meaning you'd need to order in the thousands quantity to get them smile.gif

never read my reply...
Samsung & Hynix are OEM... they only want to sell in very large quantity... cos that way the entire production can be guaranteed, that there's some customer (Apple or Dell or whoever) to buy it.

for stability & performance, they're the same, Kingston manufactures the RAM to the same spec as Samsung & Hynix... difference is the warranty.
the Apple Online Store RAM is bundled with the Mac, so international warranty is one year, but only as a part of that particular Mac.
The KTA is lifetime local warranty, in any supported Mac.
