Eddy, clear purple SEs won't look good unless you dye the TE plastic with a matching vinyl dye... a great risk and sacrifice for our investments!

I'd go for clear whites instead. So at least if we insert any art into the buttons, it won't have the tint of the coloured versions.

i m still going to order parts but this time i wanna mod freddy's HRAP 3 ... it would be a gift from me to him for bringing me back to the Street Fighter world ...

i would like to change my previous order a bit ...

Very good improvement in execution. I could do Viper's HP Lightning cancel and ELF's HP HP HP... easily now. And the silent buttons are a plus as I do not need to wake up people in the house now. We'll discuss options offline, with Eugene too if possible.

It's not the stick that counts, its the person .
Anyway I find my DS3, at the moment easier to use and definitely more convenient as I can lie on my recliner to play ha ha.

finally !!!! operation STICK !!!!

pardon the bad picture quality (phone cam) but just want to share my excitement with you guys on my operation STICK

The back of the buttons , as you can see (hopefully) HRAP3 are blessed with quick disconnects


Although the wires are somewhat organised but it still looks messy for me ... something needs to be done


So, i group them together group 1 = start/select, group 2 = punches, group 3 = kicks , looks much much neater at least to me. Next time i open it up for button change my job would be simpler

learned something from this exercise, a matte lamination would be better (current one is glossy). and have to be real careful when tightening the 6 bolt. I didn't therefor there are some imperfection around the screw head, the art are a twisted a little there. Overall, very very satisfying !!!!!

oh ya, fremont you were right about the start/select buttons. They are some real stubborn buttons hahaha , i manage to broke 1 of the snap in leg for 1 button

ps: Fruitler san, did you saw the akuma art i posted earlier on ?? If you like that 1 let me know, i can ask my friend to do 1 for you.


Total damage for this project = rm35 + some Teh O ais limau for my friend

mikeeeee ... i think u did an awesome job ... maybe u can reprint it to a matte surface later plus how did u stick the artwork ???

it surely will look great after u applied ur new buttons and ball top ...

hehe .. eddy , actually i already printed a matte lamination one ... just tot of trying out with the glossy 1 first so that can learn from any mistake

oh, the sticking part not that hard cuz the artwork is actually printed on sticker material, not normal paper so the reverse side of the art actually have its own adhesive.

yah man , maybe when the button and ball top arrived i will change the art to the matte 1 .. for now , i'm a happy man hahaha

nice ... will try to look some good artwork and then will ask u to print it for me in the future ...

still cant find any decent cammy artwork ...



anyway ... i m not good at sticking stuff ... might ask u to do it for me in the future ...

no worries .. for the glossy ones, its a bit difficult to stick nicely but for the matte ones it should be easier as it will trap less bubble since it is slightly thicker
