finally !!!! operation STICK !!!!

pardon the bad picture quality (phone cam) but just want to share my excitement with you guys on my operation STICK smile.gif

here are some pics

The back of the buttons , as you can see (hopefully) HRAP3 are blessed with quick disconnects
[attachmentid=926057]

Although the wires are somewhat organised but it still looks messy for me ... something needs to be done
[attachmentid=926066]

So, i group them together group 1 = start/select, group 2 = punches, group 3 = kicks , looks much much neater at least to me. Next time i open it up for button change my job would be simpler
[attachmentid=926071]

and ... the completed product , ladies n gentlemen Here i present to you my chun li STICK
[attachmentid=926083]
learned something from this exercise, a matte lamination would be better (current one is glossy). and have to be real careful when tightening the 6 bolt. I didn't therefor there are some imperfection around the screw head, the art are a twisted a little there. Overall, very very satisfying !!!!!

oh ya, fremont you were right about the start/select buttons. They are some real stubborn buttons hahaha , i manage to broke 1 of the snap in leg for 1 button tongue.gif

ps: Fruitler san, did you saw the akuma art i posted earlier on ?? If you like that 1 let me know, i can ask my friend to do 1 for you.
Total damage for this project = rm35 + some Teh O ais limau for my friend smile.gif

Hi lykiat, hope you have things up and running soon. FYI, post-Championship Pack DLC update, games are much more smoother and on my 1MB Streamyx line I get FULL, GREEN, 5/5 network bars most of the time.

Everyone:
All Alt Costumes DLC for PSN estimated to be out anytime (XBOX360 out already), est. cost US$12.50 (save US$7.50)

I will then start using the ladies more smile.gif

when i modded mine, i just pulled it with pliers, and off it came....

but i remembered i pulled it hard, and it was about less than 1 hr job all in all... to disc, and change buttons/balltop, and reassemble the case...

Well, I followed Tingboy's (SRK) guide, and I followed his instructions exactly, including the angle on how to open the disconnects using a flathead screwdriver. Which didn't work for me.

Took me like hours to figure out the first one. Then it got substantially shorter after that (where I could get one open in like half a minute).

Still, I finished it! biggrin.gif

There's a dedicated stick thread:
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1012173

Do post your pics there and share some ideas on how we can make it better, internally, externally and gameplay-wise.

If you need HRAP3 / TE plexi-glass and/or Seimitsu buttons visit my sig for the thread link.

Looks awesome man.

You had to take out all the sticks/buttons for that right?

I would've considered this if I weren't so bad with disconnects and tools in general.

Is this game only available thru online purchase/download?

Is it copy-able to other ps3 consoles?
