Hi. Just need a simple answer here. I'm totally new to Sony PSP, and I just bought a Sony PSP Version 3 as told by the seller.

May I know if Version 3 can play *ahem* games? If can't, is there anyway I can flash it? How much will it cost and how much do I have to pay? Thanks!

Hi. the light of my wifi is alwiz on although i switch it off..n when i din on my psp the light oso light up...a fren of mine had the same thing..anyone noe wat can i do so the light wont continue on like that??

Hey guys, i am considering to get a psp..i read there are three different models for psp ..which are psp 3000, psp slim and the old psp..what are the difference? is there any difference in terms of mp3 quality, movie quality, or the game supported (i mean whether some games can run on certain model and some cannot)?

if i get a psp, i plan to use it as a portable multimedia hub + gaming machine..will it suit my purpose? i mean are the other features of psp good or bad?

psp 2k : slim
psp 1k : fat

all games can run on all psps*, the only differences would be the loading time. of cos newer is faster.

there are no bad features on the psp. (and wth do you mean by that)

*games are highly dependent on the version of the firmware installed on the psp. all psp can support from old to new firmwares.

lol, i mean when it comes to play movies, mp 3, etc..are the sound, picture quality bad or good? coz i read some articles which states that using psp to play movies and mp3 is a bad choice..coz the sound, picture quality is not good..so i just want to know how true is this statement..cheers..

for watching something while travelling is good. dun expect 1080p quality.

To me,its better than any cheapo cap ayam brand mp4 because its from Sony....lulz.

Last time watched Ironman movie on PSP & all i can rant is a good quality of picture.

so..from the scale of one to ten..what is the audio and vid quality?

10 being the blu-ray quality while 1 being the super crap, cheap *ahem* movie you bought in pasar malam where you can barely see the face of the actor and actress..

p/s: no offense to any pasar malam dvd seller here..

If compared to the other handheld movie player out there i rate it as 8 out of ten.
iPod touch is 6 out of ten.
Comparing a handheld device with blu-ray quality is a no no.The screen resolution for psp is only 480 x 272,so dont expect any HD.
If you really need some high quality video watching go here instead.

REALLY?? like that kena cheat by the shop dy. I pay extra 100 just for the game Haiz** Then how about the video? After i converted to MPEG-MP4 format i still cannot play the video is this the same reason also?

You can convert and play video on it.Its just have to be the exact format that the psp understand.
You kena cheat big time by the shop la.
Eventually people will find a way to hack the psp3000.But dunno when...Dunno if it even possible to crack it...

you kidding right? the quality of the picture/audio is highly dependent on the quality when it first was.
of course you cant see any HD effects whatsoever, its.... too damn tiny.

audio good or not, if you play it through earphones/headphones it's still tons better than 100buck mp4 of mwalker.

just buy the damn thing then try lah. up till now i only watched austin powers 1,2 & 3 on my psp... converting the thing is a real pain in the ass so i just watched it on the pc. too many compatibility issues with the conversion software etc.

can u see the movie in your psp menu or not,
if u cant means u put wrong place,
if u can see the file but when u run cannot means you converted lousily, use another converter.

be more precise, dont just rant.

Sorry ok now more precise i use PSP Video9 to convert into MPEG4 file and put in PSP>VIDEO file but when on psp i try to open it this Statement came out.

skydrol18 : make sure you format your memory card on your psp not on your pc.Try again.
If that also dont solve the problem,use other convertor.
If that also dont solve it,you're on your own...
