first image : tv COMPONENT
second image : tv standard RCA
third image : s-video + RCA
fourth image : tv COMPONENT
COMPONENT :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Component_videoRCA :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCA_connectors-video :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S-Videos-video is a old kind of connector
RCA is the standard or normal for all tvs, those which are not too old usually have the 3 sockets of white, red & yellow
COMPONENT lets you do hi-definition, more color, more details etc. it's a new kind of connector, almost all new tvs have this now.
u can buy either one depending on your tv.
question answered?

if all can then good....
I think I posted something on this sometime back. Just scroll back a few pages hehe...anyway here is it again.
I think benwong already explain very well already. But Basically u only need to know of 2 types.
1. For normal "Phat" TV - use the S-video with RCA (just check the lubang colour on your TV first - red, white, yellow) - image 2/3
2. For LCD TV - use TV Component cable. this one got 4 lubang and the colour code different - image 1/4
Last time I didn't check the colour code and bought the component cable and end up only got sound come out coz my TV old one ma

. Also the lubang colour not same.
Louisfjh,
Only LCD TV can play games + movies + music. BUT if u use a program called FUSA, then u can also play games + movies + music + photos on ANY TV. But u need to install FUSA first. Not sure whether can post links or not. So just google FUSA. But sometimes, games are a bit laggy on standard TV. I'm using it to watch movies and play games on my NOT SLIM TV
